I regret deleting my first Genshin Impact account that had Arataki Itto and Jean. When I first started playing, I was new to the game and fell in love with it immediately. Thinking it would be smart, I spent around $30-$50 on the first Wanderer/Itto banner to get powerful characters that could carry me through the game easily. But that decision ended up ruining the game for me. I didn’t really know who these characters were or their stories, and having such overpowered units as a beginner took away the sense of challenge and progression. It felt off-putting that these characters were part of storylines I hadn’t even explored yet. I decided I’d start fresh someday, going free-to-play to experience the game naturally by exploring the story and getting to know the characters without rushing. However, when I came back after deleting my account, I couldn’t recapture the feeling of starting a fresh and exciting journey. I ended up with around seven Genshin accounts, even buying some just to access weapons, characters, and content that I had missed out on. In hindsight, I completely regret this approach. 10/10 would not recommend. The biggest lesson I learned: rushing to get overpowered characters early on really took away from the experience, making the game less enjoyable in the long run. If I could do it over again, I’d focus more on enjoying the story, the characters, and the natural progression of the game instead.
Never regret anything, since any chara that I pulls is chara that I like, I never pull for Their kits, and sometimes I even get confuse on what They do until I try Them, lol
Some people just don't like nahida or were told that they should go for her bc she's useful/meta and then didn't like her or decided to stop pulling for meta and instead pull for favorite characters. I haven't pulled for her and have not regretted not doing so.
The only real big regret I ever had in Genshin was NOT using the Epitomized Path during Raiden's debut. I didn't think I would get 3 weapons in less than 80 pulls, so instead of getting Engulfing Lightning for my 3rd weapon, I got R2 Unforged instead :)
i just pulled my c6 qiqi yesterday, every other standard character i have are just c0 or c1. (and i only have c0 diluc, the character i wanted from before i even started playing the game, because i guaranteed him on the chronicled wish banner). i wish i could share one of my qiqis with you 😅

I love her devs hate her there is no justice in this world she just needs some tweaks and ability to not cancel burst with jump or being crowd controlled during it and she will be interesting sub-dps
Wanderer is my regret. I spent money on that banner to get c6 Faruzan, his weapon and then got lucky and got his c1 and c2 in a single 10 pull. I've never used him for more than like 20 minutes...
My biggest regret in Genshin? Using 200 pulls trying to get Kaveh Cons... and i ended with C2... never again im gonna try for T4 Cons In Star Rail... i regret pulling Silver Wolf while building pity for Kafka... i didnt expect to get her early and win the 50/50...
I don't know if accidental pulls count- like Albedo was an accidental one for me. I pulled on his banner for fun, but I only use him as an elevator. I do regret Cyno and Ayato I was building for Navia, when I got Cyno, Mona, Ayato, Jean and like Silver Wolf all around 30 pity for the Genshin characters. I can't really regret Bronya, cause it's her fault for coming home, every HSR 50/50 I lose to her. The only time I lost to Himeko was on the first Kafka banner I pulled, I had only recently got the game, and I hadn't done any limited banner pulls for like Jing Yuan before, I had only done some starter pulls and standard banner pulls to try to get Himeko, then when Kafka came around Himeko came home. I was so confused about how to feel. I will die on the hill that I don't regret pulling on Dehya- Noelle's Hangout challenge was too hard for me even with my more built characters, then I got Dehya and was able to do it.
Maybe Jingyuan and SW? I mean JY has been helpful during 1.0 to 1.5, but after Acheron dropped, he has been permanently benched. As for SW, i have not used her that much besides when im using Acheron. Mono quantum isn't good, her weakness implant kit has been stolen..
cyno and ganyu for genshin. i really loved Cyno’s design, but i way overestimated how good he’d be without major building so that soured it, and i had to wait for the nahida rerun because of it. also Ganyu, i got her when i was still new because i knew she was a “meta” character at the time, but i just never use her, and i spent a decent amount of money on her.
who i regret *not* pulling for is Huo Huo. i didn’t know she was actually cracked, and her story quest really endeared me to her and Tail after the fact
I mainly play Star Rail f2p, so I’m already selective of who I pull. I don’t regret pulling for any of the limited 5 stars I have, but I do wish I had better luck on Standard Banner. I’m not really using Gepard much since getting him in Belobog, and Clara gets very little play time on my account.
I regret getting Zeele because I got her on the rerun and after I pulled Penacony happened, we know how that went. I also regret claiming the free Dr. Ratio he has been sitting there without a light cone for the longest time, I used him for a time then I got Dan Hung Inbibitor Lunae.
Xianyuns beneifit to exploration is reason enough for me to pull her, I even got her C1. I can't imagine going back to a pre-xianyun exploration era. Not needing to waste a slot with sayu to use as a taxi is blessed. Plus shes hot af. (As someone who 100% all regions)
I regret Wanderer and Childe... So I didn't pull for Arlecchino since my experience with the harbingers wasn't looking too good😂 I don't regret not pulling for Arlecchino tho, I already have a great roster of DPS' so didn't feel like I needed her
Now I don't regret having Robin but when I pulled for her I did regret because I didn't use fua and my friends told me to get a harmony character because I didn't have anyone at the time... But she is really good
The Lyney admission HURT as a Lyney main. Honestly, I think his C1 / C2 helps a little in compensating his “slow” gameplay but I understand not liking charged shot gameplay in general. 😮💨
i really regret pulling for neuvilette. i maxed his level, ascend his talents, gave him pretty good artifacts... and didn't used him neither in open world nor abyss🤡✋ i just don't like his playstyle.
Kafka is probably my regret pull on hsr. For Genshin probably Klee? It doesn’t bother me that much tbh so I don’t really feel regret per se, she’s just permanently benched
I do actually regret pulling for Raiden Shogun as well. I pulled her because I heard she was good, and have not found a use for her since. She sits at level 80 with no artifacts and I don't feel like I'm missing anything In HSR I regret Acheron, I only use her for easy overworld exploration, but in combat I just don't vibe with her. I do intend to pull for Jiaoqiu in the near future though, maybe he'll revitalize my interest in her since he's a good teammate to her I do also regret Fu Xuan and Blade in HSR. I like them as characters but they fell off so badly...
I’ve been playing Genshin pretty consistently since 2020 with a few breaks here and there and I am currently at 32 5 stars (counting standard banner)… That being said here’s a list of characters I do not use at all anymore: I sadly do not use: 1. Yoimiya - I love her and I still use her occasionally from time to time but not nearly as often as my other characters 2. Yae Miko - She has one of my favorite designs in the game but I don’t really use her often and when I do I really only use her as an off field support for electro application 3. Tighnari - I know Tighnari is pretty strong but I already have Alhaitham and Nahida so I never really felt the need to invest resources into building him just yet 4. Qiqi - Self explanatory ☠️ 5. Keqing - I loathe Keqing. Sorry Keqing mains but I actually hate this character so much 6. Ganyu - Ever since I got Wriothesley I don’t think I’ve played Ganyu once. I still like her but her play style can get old pretty fast 7. Eula - Same as Ganyu. I still like her as a character but I have stronger ones so I don’t really feel the need to play her 8. Cyno - I ended up pulling Wanderer and Alhaitham right after Cyno on his first banner so I invested all my resources into the other 2 and kinda forgot about Cyno 😭 I still haven’t gotten around to building him because so many new characters keep coming out 😃 9. Hu Tao - This one hurts the most because I love Hu Tao so much 😭 But I never got C1 so her play style at C0 just wasn’t that fun to me so I don’t really use her anymore 😢
On the other side here are characters I use VERY often: 1. Xiao - I’m an OG day 1 Xiao main ever since his first banner and that will never change. Especially since there are amazing characters who can buff him now like Xianyun, Faruzan, and Furina! 2. Zhongli - Same as Xiao, I’ve had Zhongli since I started the game and I literally don’t know how to play the game without him atp… 3. Wriothesley - If I’m not using Xiao then I’m using Wriothesley. I have him C1 with his sig weapon so he’s one of my strongest characters and can easily solo a lot of content in the game 4. Yelan - self explanatory 5. Nahida - self explanatory 6. Raiden Shogun - self explanatory 7. Furina - self explanatory 8. Neuvilette - self explanatory 9. Kazuha - self explanatory 10. Wanderer - Wanderer is honestly not that strong in comparison to the others I have on this list but I just like his play style a lot he’s very fun to play 11. Diluc - Diluc has always been my favorite character ever since I started the game from the first cut scene I ever saw of him. Idc if he’s not meta I will use him until the end 💪
I lost so many 50/50 to Bailu and her LC that i maxed her out and now she's one of my go to healer when i need, even not having cleanse! She's just a heal bomb and a reviver, overlooked!
In geshin I really regret Itto the most, gotta be honest, I had the chance to try it out with goro, zhongli and albedo and I thought it was really fun, but the I got him and I almost never played him. Ganyu is on top of the list too, but I kinda like her, is just that I have too many cryo so I don't use her much. Then a step below would be Albedo and Eula, I wouldn't say I regret them, but I definitely not use them, although I like them so much that it's fine to me. In hsr I pull when I really like someone only and I have focused mostly on a kafka team, so I wouldn't say I regret anything, the only one who I could say it's seele, I don't use her much, but I have her built, enjoy her playstyle and use her from time to time, but the fact is that I'd be able to clear everything without her since I have better units. Anyway I wouldn't say I regret her because of the context, I was just starting the game and I think probably I would have left the game for a couple of patches until Kafka if I wouldn't have gotten her, so in a way every wish spent I recovered it by keeping my interest in playing until Kafka came out, and also for a really long time I used her for my second team, so I'd say she was overall worth it enough to not be a regret for me.
i’m one of those people who only pulls for characters i think/know ill like, so i don’t really regret anything rn. the closest id get to regretting is maybe the ganyu i got while wishing for kaveh cons when he released? i do like her and even got her outfit but like i dont use her much, i dont REALLY regret it though
My main regret is Baizhu. I never wanted him, I don't use him at all, I do not like how he plays. But I wanted Kaveh and that was the only reason I pulled on Baizhu and I got Baizhu and Kaveh in the same pull.

The Itto slander is crazy. You'll never understand the feeling of going Unga Bunga. When I see the chance to Unga, I go Itto, and by the will of the Archons, I Bunga.
My regrets for pulling Hu Tao is just that I invest a lot of her (lvl. 90, 8/8/8 talent, give her PWJS) only for her to get bench because I upgrade others & forgot about her. I just don't utilize her much these days
One thing I regret is speedrunning main quest until I reach Sumeru in 2 month, I start playing in 3.0 btw so my quest tab is pretty much clean for newbies back then 😅
Bro don't disrespect the Keqing banner. I and A LOT of Keqing simps have been waiting a LONG TIME to get Keqing. And that banner was the HOLY GRAIL for us. Before that i lost tons and tons of 50/50's to QIQI (CURRENTLY C12!). So please more respect to Keqing's banner duk.
The "having too many characters to play" problem is something I was struggling with for a while. Thankfully, Imaginarium kinda is playing off of that, but I understand that's not everyone.
I regret pulling for al haitham. Ppl overhyped him a lot even now. Unlike arlecchino or nuvelitte or even navia his dmg is low and cant be used without reactions.
Albedo main here. I didn't start playing until Nov 2023. I got Albedo and multiple cons for him during Chronicle 😂 I do not regret him or getting cons at all. I adore him.

I don’t think I have a regret pull, since for me, an F2P, I pull on characters that I know I’ll actually use and not bench. Like I’ll swapped between all my DPS characters every once in a while so no one is completely benched.
i literally use xianyun all the time in my overworld team. It was yelan for the 'traversal' slot for a very long time, but the more i tested both, xianyun's traversal is just a bit better overall. Though i can understand the gameplay regret, 90% of the time you spent in genshin is exploring (unless you don't explore at all 😂) enough about defending xianyun, my only real regret is Ayato. at that time there were a high demand of hydro, yelan was still not out and xingqiu was the only functional off-field hydro. So i pulled ayato out of necessity, but he didn't really helped my account (this was more so back then a lot of people say build him for damage on his E... this is a mistake, build him with a lot of ER so you can burst comfortably once per rotation, he's much more helpful that way) . tldr ayato was a regret cause of a combination of necessity (didn't really like him as a character) and lack of knowledge/TC's wasn't as popular back then.
I only pull for characters i like, and then once i have them all i pull for the characters that help them the most (ex. Baizhu for Cyno, Xianyun for Gaming, Furina for my sanity (i only had xingqiu for off-field hydro before her), etc.) So no regrets..... yet.
my only c6 is wanderer and honestly i'm surprised i don't regret it (i can confirm he is worth building, he's very fun to play i swear im not biased) i have a bunch of genshin regrets but not many in hsr because most characters in honkai star rail can excel at one of the endgame modes??? so idk i can't think of one i really regret???
My regrets. Wanderer, Itto, Albedo, Eula, Childe, Ayato, Nilou, Dehya. Reasons why: Wanderer - I pulled him for his mobility through exploration. However Xianyun completely blows him out of the water with ease of use. I just don't enjoy Wanderers flying mechanic. And in combat he keeps getting knocked down even with a Zhongli shield so it pisses me off using him. Itto - I wanted to try and get a copy of Gorou. Did 1 ten pull on Itto's banner and got him. Wasted my guarantee from like 10 pity and had to then spend almost $300 to get the next character I wanted after. Geo teams aren't also something I enjoy. Albedo - Loved his quests, but unfortunately I don't enjoy geo teams. Albedo helped me so much during my early days but I haven't used him since AR 40. And I got to AR 60 like Mid 1.X Eula - Physical just isn't good. Bottom line, its trash. I love Eula's design, she can sit on me anytime she wants and I will bark for her. But Physical compared to anything else just sucks so much. I have barely touched her since getting her. Childe - I got him from his first banner and honestly he was nice at first. But I just don't use him anymore, especially now with Neuvi out there. There was also never really a super need for Hydro to be used in Abyss and exploration, plus if I did need hydro I just used Xingqiu instead who did more damage. Ayato - I got him from the hype of him being Ayaka's brother. I used him for 2 days after his banner and never touched him ever again. Nilou - That bloom is strong, and I get that. I love it for the power, but I just can't click with the playstyle. Dehya - We all know why. We all regret, and we all cope.
Klee, c1 Klee at that. 1.0 was rough ngl. I don't regret pulling for Eula, even though i don't use her in abyss, i use her in open world and i'm happy with it. And i'm a geo main, so my c3 (someday c6) Itto carries me like a champ in abyss. Albedo also has a broken build, like 35-40k blooms from him is really nice. Though i understand why people don't like these characters, i'm perfectly fine with their flaws. As for HSR: i regret pulling for IL Dang Heng, don't use him like at all. I don't really want to pull Sparkle for him to be usable. I used him once in MoC against angry sword child and that's it. I don't regret pulling for Jingliu, she and Yukong are a godly combo in SU, ruining those barrels or catching pigs. Ahaha, no, seriously, the girl carries me in MoC real hard. As for King Yuan, he brought me 36* MoC in the last two rotations. I also kinda thought he fell off, but i was genuinely surprised he's still can use his old bones to do dmg. So i don't regret pulling for him either. So far IL is the only one i regret pulling for. In the end i believe every character has its own time and place to be usable again. Even if Jingliu kinda fell off, i still think one day she'll raise again, just like Jing Yuan did. So yeah, even my Klee was useful as a support for Theater on my alt account where i use only catalysts and don't have Klee. So yeah, just wait and you will see some usefulness ++
I am a newly discovered Sigewinne main and I love her so much. She's a good healer and my build for her does pretty decent damage. The only thing I don't like about her is her skill. The cooldown is kinda long and it takes FOREVER to charge up fully. Other than that I adore her :)

I can't really regret Bronya, cause it's her fault for coming home, every HSR 50/50 I lose to her.
The only time I lost to Himeko was on the first Kafka banner I pulled, I had only recently got the game, and I hadn't done any limited banner pulls for like Jing Yuan before, I had only done some starter pulls and standard banner pulls to try to get Himeko, then when Kafka came around Himeko came home. I was so confused about how to feel.
I will die on the hill that I don't regret pulling on Dehya- Noelle's Hangout challenge was too hard for me even with my more built characters, then I got Dehya and was able to do it.
Maybe Jingyuan and SW? I mean JY has been helpful during 1.0 to 1.5, but after Acheron dropped, he has been permanently benched. As for SW, i have not used her that much besides when im using Acheron. Mono quantum isn't good, her weakness implant kit has been stolen..
cyno and ganyu for genshin. i really loved Cyno’s design, but i way overestimated how good he’d be without major building so that soured it, and i had to wait for the nahida rerun because of it. also Ganyu, i got her when i was still new because i knew she was a “meta” character at the time, but i just never use her, and i spent a decent amount of money on her.
who i regret *not* pulling for is Huo Huo. i didn’t know she was actually cracked, and her story quest really endeared me to her and Tail after the fact
I mainly play Star Rail f2p, so I’m already selective of who I pull. I don’t regret pulling for any of the limited 5 stars I have, but I do wish I had better luck on Standard Banner. I’m not really using Gepard much since getting him in Belobog, and Clara gets very little play time on my account.
I regret getting Zeele because I got her on the rerun and after I pulled Penacony happened, we know how that went. I also regret claiming the free Dr. Ratio he has been sitting there without a light cone for the longest time, I used him for a time then I got Dan Hung Inbibitor Lunae.
Xianyuns beneifit to exploration is reason enough for me to pull her, I even got her C1. I can't imagine going back to a pre-xianyun exploration era. Not needing to waste a slot with sayu to use as a taxi is blessed. Plus shes hot af. (As someone who 100% all regions)
I regret Wanderer and Childe...
So I didn't pull for Arlecchino since my experience with the harbingers wasn't looking too good😂
I don't regret not pulling for Arlecchino tho, I already have a great roster of DPS' so didn't feel like I needed her
Now I don't regret having Robin but when I pulled for her I did regret because I didn't use fua and my friends told me to get a harmony character because I didn't have anyone at the time... But she is really good
The Lyney admission HURT as a Lyney main. Honestly, I think his C1 / C2 helps a little in compensating his “slow” gameplay but I understand not liking charged shot gameplay in general. 😮💨

Kafka is probably my regret pull on hsr. For Genshin probably Klee? It doesn’t bother me that much tbh so I don’t really feel regret per se, she’s just permanently benched

I do actually regret pulling for Raiden Shogun as well. I pulled her because I heard she was good, and have not found a use for her since. She sits at level 80 with no artifacts and I don't feel like I'm missing anything
In HSR I regret Acheron, I only use her for easy overworld exploration, but in combat I just don't vibe with her. I do intend to pull for Jiaoqiu in the near future though, maybe he'll revitalize my interest in her since he's a good teammate to her
I do also regret Fu Xuan and Blade in HSR. I like them as characters but they fell off so badly...
I’ve been playing Genshin pretty consistently since 2020 with a few breaks here and there and I am currently at 32 5 stars (counting standard banner)… That being said here’s a list of characters I do not use at all anymore:
I sadly do not use:
1. Yoimiya - I love her and I still use her occasionally from time to time but not nearly as often as my other characters
2. Yae Miko - She has one of my favorite designs in the game but I don’t really use her often and when I do I really only use her as an off field support for electro application
3. Tighnari - I know Tighnari is pretty strong but I already have Alhaitham and Nahida so I never really felt the need to invest resources into building him just yet
4. Qiqi - Self explanatory ☠️
5. Keqing - I loathe Keqing. Sorry Keqing mains but I actually hate this character so much
6. Ganyu - Ever since I got Wriothesley I don’t think I’ve played Ganyu once. I still like her but her play style can get old pretty fast
7. Eula - Same as Ganyu. I still like her as a character but I have stronger ones so I don’t really feel the need to play her
8. Cyno - I ended up pulling Wanderer and Alhaitham right after Cyno on his first banner so I invested all my resources into the other 2 and kinda forgot about Cyno 😭 I still haven’t gotten around to building him because so many new characters keep coming out 😃
9. Hu Tao - This one hurts the most because I love Hu Tao so much 😭 But I never got C1 so her play style at C0 just wasn’t that fun to me so I don’t really use her anymore 😢
On the other side here are characters I use VERY often:
1. Xiao - I’m an OG day 1 Xiao main ever since his first banner and that will never change. Especially since there are amazing characters who can buff him now like Xianyun, Faruzan, and Furina!
2. Zhongli - Same as Xiao, I’ve had Zhongli since I started the game and I literally don’t know how to play the game without him atp…
3. Wriothesley - If I’m not using Xiao then I’m using Wriothesley. I have him C1 with his sig weapon so he’s one of my strongest characters and can easily solo a lot of content in the game
4. Yelan - self explanatory
5. Nahida - self explanatory
6. Raiden Shogun - self explanatory
7. Furina - self explanatory
8. Neuvilette - self explanatory
9. Kazuha - self explanatory
10. Wanderer - Wanderer is honestly not that strong in comparison to the others I have on this list but I just like his play style a lot he’s very fun to play
11. Diluc - Diluc has always been my favorite character ever since I started the game from the first cut scene I ever saw of him. Idc if he’s not meta I will use him until the end 💪
In defense of Ayato, we lacked hydro characters back then, just Mona, Xingqiu , Barbara and Childe if i'm not mistaken.
I lost so many 50/50 to Bailu and her LC that i maxed her out and now she's one of my go to healer when i need, even not having cleanse! She's just a heal bomb and a reviver, overlooked!
In geshin I really regret Itto the most, gotta be honest, I had the chance to try it out with goro, zhongli and albedo and I thought it was really fun, but the I got him and I almost never played him. Ganyu is on top of the list too, but I kinda like her, is just that I have too many cryo so I don't use her much. Then a step below would be Albedo and Eula, I wouldn't say I regret them, but I definitely not use them, although I like them so much that it's fine to me.
In hsr I pull when I really like someone only and I have focused mostly on a kafka team, so I wouldn't say I regret anything, the only one who I could say it's seele, I don't use her much, but I have her built, enjoy her playstyle and use her from time to time, but the fact is that I'd be able to clear everything without her since I have better units. Anyway I wouldn't say I regret her because of the context, I was just starting the game and I think probably I would have left the game for a couple of patches until Kafka if I wouldn't have gotten her, so in a way every wish spent I recovered it by keeping my interest in playing until Kafka came out, and also for a really long time I used her for my second team, so I'd say she was overall worth it enough to not be a regret for me.
i’m one of those people who only pulls for characters i think/know ill like, so i don’t really regret anything rn. the closest id get to regretting is maybe the ganyu i got while wishing for kaveh cons when he released? i do like her and even got her outfit but like i dont use her much, i dont REALLY regret it though

I regret Argenti not because I wanted him because I pulled in the wrong banner. I wanted Silver Wolf rerun 😢😢
My main regret is Baizhu. I never wanted him, I don't use him at all, I do not like how he plays. But I wanted Kaveh and that was the only reason I pulled on Baizhu and I got Baizhu and Kaveh in the same pull.
I don't regret any of the characters I pulled for. But I do wish Keqing would disappear from my account and never come back.
22:35 i did and i knew she was gonna be added to the general pool. i just love her so much, the design the character and she's so badass and what's even better is it doesn't feel forced like most western bullshit. got her and her weapon and i don't regret it at all, she did well in theaters replacing zhongli for neuv, and she's super fun in overworld
I kinda regret pulling sigwinne I love her but she’s just not the best healer. I wish I used the pulls to get her on Furina c1

My two biggest regrets in genshin are Cyno and Ganyu T^T literally pulled for them and never used them sigh

The Itto slander is crazy. You'll never understand the feeling of going Unga Bunga. When I see the chance to Unga, I go Itto, and by the will of the Archons, I Bunga.
My regrets for pulling Hu Tao is just that I invest a lot of her (lvl. 90, 8/8/8 talent, give her PWJS) only for her to get bench because I upgrade others & forgot about her. I just don't utilize her much these days
One thing I regret is speedrunning main quest until I reach Sumeru in 2 month, I start playing in 3.0 btw so my quest tab is pretty much clean for newbies back then 😅
Bro don't disrespect the Keqing banner. I and A LOT of Keqing simps have been waiting a LONG TIME to get Keqing. And that banner was the HOLY GRAIL for us. Before that i lost tons and tons of 50/50's to QIQI (CURRENTLY C12!). So please more respect to Keqing's banner duk.
The "having too many characters to play" problem is something I was struggling with for a while. Thankfully, Imaginarium kinda is playing off of that, but I understand that's not everyone.
I regret pulling for al haitham. Ppl overhyped him a lot even now. Unlike arlecchino or nuvelitte or even navia his dmg is low and cant be used without reactions.
Albedo main here. I didn't start playing until Nov 2023. I got Albedo and multiple cons for him during Chronicle 😂 I do not regret him or getting cons at all. I adore him.

I swiped 50 bucks on the keqing banner.. and then lost on hutao to keqing... (i didn't know back then that keqing was a standard)
I pulled on the Keqing, Tighnari, and Dehya banner. I don’t regret it at all because this game only gives me Mona and Diluc regularly.
I don’t think I have a regret pull, since for me, an F2P, I pull on characters that I know I’ll actually use and not bench. Like I’ll swapped between all my DPS characters every once in a while so no one is completely benched.
i literally use xianyun all the time in my overworld team. It was yelan for the 'traversal' slot for a very long time, but the more i tested both, xianyun's traversal is just a bit better overall. Though i can understand the gameplay regret, 90% of the time you spent in genshin is exploring (unless you don't explore at all 😂)
enough about defending xianyun, my only real regret is Ayato. at that time there were a high demand of hydro, yelan was still not out and xingqiu was the only functional off-field hydro. So i pulled ayato out of necessity, but he didn't really helped my account (this was more so back then a lot of people say build him for damage on his E... this is a mistake, build him with a lot of ER so you can burst comfortably once per rotation, he's much more helpful that way) .
tldr ayato was a regret cause of a combination of necessity (didn't really like him as a character) and lack of knowledge/TC's wasn't as popular back then.
I only pull for characters i like, and then once i have them all i pull for the characters that help them the most (ex. Baizhu for Cyno, Xianyun for Gaming, Furina for my sanity (i only had xingqiu for off-field hydro before her), etc.)
So no regrets..... yet.

My regrets.
Wanderer, Itto, Albedo, Eula, Childe, Ayato, Nilou, Dehya.
Reasons why:
Wanderer - I pulled him for his mobility through exploration. However Xianyun completely blows him out of the water with ease of use. I just don't enjoy Wanderers flying mechanic. And in combat he keeps getting knocked down even with a Zhongli shield so it pisses me off using him.
Itto - I wanted to try and get a copy of Gorou. Did 1 ten pull on Itto's banner and got him. Wasted my guarantee from like 10 pity and had to then spend almost $300 to get the next character I wanted after. Geo teams aren't also something I enjoy.
Albedo - Loved his quests, but unfortunately I don't enjoy geo teams. Albedo helped me so much during my early days but I haven't used him since AR 40. And I got to AR 60 like Mid 1.X
Eula - Physical just isn't good. Bottom line, its trash. I love Eula's design, she can sit on me anytime she wants and I will bark for her. But Physical compared to anything else just sucks so much. I have barely touched her since getting her.
Childe - I got him from his first banner and honestly he was nice at first. But I just don't use him anymore, especially now with Neuvi out there. There was also never really a super need for Hydro to be used in Abyss and exploration, plus if I did need hydro I just used Xingqiu instead who did more damage.
Ayato - I got him from the hype of him being Ayaka's brother. I used him for 2 days after his banner and never touched him ever again.
Nilou - That bloom is strong, and I get that. I love it for the power, but I just can't click with the playstyle.
Dehya - We all know why. We all regret, and we all cope.
Klee, c1 Klee at that. 1.0 was rough ngl. I don't regret pulling for Eula, even though i don't use her in abyss, i use her in open world and i'm happy with it. And i'm a geo main, so my c3 (someday c6) Itto carries me like a champ in abyss. Albedo also has a broken build, like 35-40k blooms from him is really nice. Though i understand why people don't like these characters, i'm perfectly fine with their flaws.
As for HSR: i regret pulling for IL Dang Heng, don't use him like at all. I don't really want to pull Sparkle for him to be usable. I used him once in MoC against angry sword child and that's it.
I don't regret pulling for Jingliu, she and Yukong are a godly combo in SU, ruining those barrels or catching pigs. Ahaha, no, seriously, the girl carries me in MoC real hard. As for King Yuan, he brought me 36* MoC in the last two rotations. I also kinda thought he fell off, but i was genuinely surprised he's still can use his old bones to do dmg. So i don't regret pulling for him either. So far IL is the only one i regret pulling for.
In the end i believe every character has its own time and place to be usable again. Even if Jingliu kinda fell off, i still think one day she'll raise again, just like Jing Yuan did. So yeah, even my Klee was useful as a support for Theater on my alt account where i use only catalysts and don't have Klee. So yeah, just wait and you will see some usefulness ++

I regret so many other people pulling Acheron, seeing her gameplay now bores me, and I'm kind of sick of seeing her

I am a newly discovered Sigewinne main and I love her so much. She's a good healer and my build for her does pretty decent damage. The only thing I don't like about her is her skill. The cooldown is kinda long and it takes FOREVER to charge up fully. Other than that I adore her :)

For HSR most likely Jing Yuan even tho I still use him but ik I won't after I get Acheron.

Biggest regret for me wasn’t a character but a weapon. I think I was pulling for skyward harp at the time but instead I got itto’s weapon (I don’t have and never will have itto bc f**k onikabuto)
