Crossover on amp or on head unit, I hate when a 20-25 hz note comes through my woofer at full power...being over powered you hear the wonderful sound of bottoming out in that range lol
DS`18 tries so hard to comp with skar and sundown/DC what a shame :D LOLOL THIS IS NOT A TRUE EXCURSION SUB MYBE WITH SKAR AUDIO EVL SERIES THAT IS IT. Dude you need to get your money back. My X-15 V3 is taller with a 10 1/2 INCH spider GAME OVER :D LOLOL
I love this sub because its not a Sundown and sounds completely different. In a lot of ways it sounds better. Obviously you haven't seen my truck build.
@@rexnhogz Dude don't listen to that guy, I just received my DS18 12 from amazon, it's 2000 watts rms and built like an absolute beast. I have a Skar audio 2000 watt amp I will be wiring up to. Can hardly wait to try it out!

Yea my hpf is about 28hz on this sub and lpf is around 80 but its as far as an sfb amp can go
But 2000 watts is pretty much underpowering this sub can handle way more.

@@martinramirezmi5457 Yea its a monster. tune it to 35-40hz and you will be blown away. definitely not one of the junky ds18s.
