Not bad voices by any means but something just sounds off for some reason. I just think it's a bit too high, especially since this song is typically sang very baritone and at a deeper register. By no means was this meant to be hurtful, bless.
It feels too soft, probably for the same reasons you mentioned. And also not meant to be hurtful, I love this song and these guys do an amazing job.
