@@ASTRALEGION tbh yeah that. Whenever I join a kwtd and there's someone that doesn't know what to do I'll break it down for them. Then there's the impatient ones. Like bro, you were in their shoes. Let the lad get his first clear. If you ain't got the time then leave and do your sub 1 hour raids with your raid clans. If you are that much of a god anyways you'll be able to practically know what's going on even if someone is not doing their callout.

Every LFG group has:
-The quiet one that doesn't say a word
-The guy that talks over everyone else
-The dude who has never done a raid or even knows what a raid is
-And the guy who blames everyone else, even though he's the one that caused you to wipe. (This one is the worst kind of human being)

I’m usually stay quiet to observe the players, Cause every time I join a LFG that says KWTD and i say something, they expect a carry. It’s almost always half or more people that don’t have slightest clue and i simply leave after a couple of wipes
The first raid I ever did I met the nicest group of people that walked me through VOG. They were so accepting of the idea that I didn’t have a clue what I was doing and they taught me anyway. At the end of the raid they asked if I wanted to do another and they walked me through VOW and Last Wish. Peak Destiny.

Glaives definitely can work in raids. The shield is what makes it though, pretty good at mitigating any form of a threat and pair it with an overshield or woven mail then even champs in master will struggle to kill you if you know what you’re doing.
@@xdifficultviper9916 I can see where glaive will be decent this season in master... But glaive on normal mode is pretty troll seeing that adds r a non issue in most raids. Too many sources of healing and large scale add control nowadays.
I spent months in fear of joining LFG raids with KWTD in them, spent hours learning strats, watching streamers, and vids. Finally get the confidence to join one and only one other person on the team actually knows what to do, while the others to include the leader are fighting for ad clear. This is gold!
Let tell you a secret basically all kwtd runs are bad because half that group is like this another is probably the friend whos done the raid 500 times but is so drunk and high and done with the raid there not doing shit and then theres you

@@TeamGrimm07 at least on xbox, lfg players have been consistently trash since the start of d2 (and even d1 as far back as I can remember) unless you literally be 'that guy' that asks for 10+ clears and actually checks for them when they join. usually the people I get all literally want to be ad clear, or "forgot exactly how the mechanics work" which when translated from idiot just means they dont know how to actually do anything but don't want to admit it.
@@TheCrunchLogI've done several hundred xbox lfg raids and the majority of players are good, you just need to help people get out of their shell and then they'll do the mechanics. Make a post, be a good player, be a good person, and you'll get good lfgs.

Problem is, when you ask for people who know what to do for a quick clear, you want people you don’t have to teach mechanics to, because you asked for a skilled group. Simple as that. I joined an LFG group for day 1 root of nightmares and the guy who made the group asked for everyone to have multiple day 1 clears. We got to the 3rd encounter with this guy being dead weight before i checked his raid report to see he'd only ever done 3 full raid clears and we ended up replacing him and getting it done. I felt this video bro

I like teaching Vow of the Disciple and when people say they’ll take ad-clear, I’ll just say “nope that’s my role, here lemme show you how this goes we’ll take our time” even though I know every encounter. I like to think it helps with future LFG’s.
should be how it is with every sherpa runs. As a sherpa you'll know where the enemies are coming from. Clearing them before the mechanics guys are even aware of them takes most of the stress out. First thing I don't want to hear from learning lads is "I'm getting shot down because there's ads in the left lane"
When I do sherpa runs the people who say they will take ads are my first volunteers! 😂

I stopped doing “KWTD” LFGs and started doing “Chill” and Red Border runs.
Here’s the deal: In a chill run, the environment is set for someone that knows what to do to kinda go over the encounter and we try it out until we finish.
In a Red Border run, it is kinda unspoken that we stay for the entire run because the red border chest is… *at the end* of a raid.
In a KWTD run, the moment someone gets their toe stuck on Bungie paper, someone just dips out. And that’s [censored] annoying. 😒
Except that it might takes ages to complete. If it works for you - fine. Doesn't work for me, though.

As someone who uses LFG a lot for raiding this hurt my soul. I lfged a Nezzy kill like 2 weeks ago cause all I care about getting from that raid is the shotgun and I was running light, pulling gaze, and making refuge. When I noticed nobody was running dark side I said "okay who wants to learn how to run dark and pull gaze? I can still make refuge I'll just take a break from running." Nobody answered. I left, joined another group, we one phased him in like 2 minutes hahaha. I would say like 80% of the groups I've joined over the years (been playing off and on since vanilla D2) are chill and also have decent people that just want their loot. If you do get a bad group or even just one toxic person it can definitely be insanely rough.
The player base being stupid has gotten worse with root. It wasn’t this bad before I feel like.

@@TeamGrimm07 lfg has been dumb since season of the plunder (probably because the game damn near died and all the good players left most likely) but this raid being ‘easy’ has made lfg on average even more dumb. Somehow.

But the problem is no one wants to teach I make it a point to have dps just show me the mechanics I have the weapons to do the encounter but know one wants to teach everyone wants their loot quick which is why I only raid with friends it makes my experience more fun lfg is fool of Assholes when I played I carried people to atheon and atracks all the time I take a break and come back no help for to be found people are selfish in this game and take it to serious imo
A raid that can be solo'd or has mechanics that requires only two people, most people just never bother to learn and expect others to do the chores while they just "ad clear"

My favourite was joining a ‘have clears kwtd or kick’ run for VoG, only to keep dying at Atheon because call-outs were being missed etc. we then realised the one guy doing everything wrong, not talking and doing no Boss damage was actually the host. We all agreed to simultaneously leave and start another group.

I've seen someone almost 20LL below trying to do Caretaker DPS with a MG, and that was way before all the buffs. I usually don't complain, but 5,5 hours in Vow was a bit much

When someone says they got ad clear, they'd be either of the two types:
1) the one who will make sure the area is just just devoid of any living creature
2) the one whose getting cleared by ad
First rule of my LFG. If you join a KWTD then tell everyone you don't know how a certain something work's you're doing that role until clear or you leave.
I encourage this so that they don't go and ruin someone else's run by not knowing what they're doing.
Anyway on another note my study shows the Destiny community struggle severely with basic numbers.
Counting in particular seems to be an incredibly daunting task.
First role of LFG. If you join a kwtd and you don't really kwtd you leave.

I'm a sherpa in my guild and this is how I teach the raids. They sign up for a Sherpa run, upfront, "this isn't a carry, you will get a job." And away we go.
I did a VoG run with 2 no mics, a guy who only spoke Japanese, and a guy with all blue armour who was equipping everything he got from each encounter (he used a blue grenade launcher on atheon). I solo'd oracle's and did as much as I could but it still took like 3 hours. (My fastest vog time is 28m)

I've noticed the chill groups are usually the most efficient. I always just make a "mic optional/chill run" post and we'll usually run through raids without any wipes lol. Did VoD and Root yesterday back to back within like 2 hours
Chill far to often means - let's wipe because we can. It really depends on the people. While some are perfectly capable of listening to what they are told and owning up to their mistakes other aren't and quickly become combative. Check Goldfinger's channel.

Had one of these for RON got up to scisson I knew what to do but no one else did so I started teaching some random then everyone started to leave after 2 failed attempts then some other guy pipes up saying he knew what to do but his build was for add clear, like bro if no one else knows how to do it you do it. The fact more people don't take advantage of sherpa runs confuses me
I've wanted to cry...i didn't know what to do and the entire fireteam were guys and the lead dude was trying to teach me and being so patient and I kept apologizing when i died cause it killed everyone. One guy used the dinner excuse and i never left faster. I vowed to never do that again until I can carry a fireteam.

After running raids with my actual friends, I noticed how unfun LFG raids were. It’s gotten to the point to where if my homies can’t raid, I just don’t either, even if I can just LFG for that week. It’s probably because of things demonstrated in this video combined with the occasional toxicity.

I think this has happened a lot during this raid in particular because less and less people are willing to teach players what to do or they're unwilling to look up a guide.

I hard quit destiny a year ago, but yeah it's always been like this.
Was doing oracles on challenge mode, we had one guy keep messing up but because of the challenge we didn't know who. An hour later after asking wipe after wipe who messed up and saying we just wanted to help them understand what to do, the guy just left without saying a word.

I once joined a "VOG Atheon KWTD" and half of the players used kinetics to do dmg. I left after the seventh attempt. One of them told me that those guys were in there for nearly 8 hours. For a normal vault of glass run smh...
There's nothing wrong with being a noob but there's something wrong with people that keep failing because they don't want to listed to the advice you are giving them. I once tried to "carry" 5 noobs through GoS but had to give up at the boss as this was the only encounter where I could not tell them "do this or that now".
I been stop playing Destiny a year after D2 drop , but to see this type off stuff still going on is funny as hell 😂

Fr, I joined a Master KWTD LFG one time and 3/6 people were A underleveled as fuck and B didn’t know how the raid works
Me and a bud joined an explicator cp and we both were on the top right and top left triangles and 2 randoms were on the opposite ones and they kept wiping over and over, getting their planets wrong since there was no light glow at the end of each planetary shift. We finally beat the encounter and me and my friend both got kicked before we could get our loot because we told them they were doing it wrong. LFG egos are wild.

Oh it gets even better. Do you remember that forgotten feature that's called guided games? A lot of times people don't have mics and most of the times the people queueing up as guides don't know the raid. Great experience for everyone. So when I'm bored I queue up for Vow because there's a 90% chance that the "guides" need a sherpa.
How do you even get guides I remember being in a queue for over an hour before I left.
@@daredevil2_074 so for Vow, DSC, RoN and VoG you find guides pretty regularly, best is to queue up when it's early evening in the US. And yes you basically expect queue times like that.

I get people are anxious especially when they’re new, but you gotta communicate with people even if it’s just text chat. Most people are willing to teach if you’re genuinely willing to learn. And people hosting the kwtd runs that don’t kwtd should be upfront about that or not put it in the title. Chillest runs I’ve had on LFG are ones without kwtd in the title.
My favorite is when my friends and I have to LFG the other half and we need people for positions, and there's no answer, we start putting people on positions. "I don't know how to do this position though" Well today you're gonna learn

I remember for one time I joined Vow and met the guy that teaching 4 new lights, he's one of the nicest player I ever met in Destiny 2, he explains each encounter so well and clear he even explains the lore behind Vow while we are moving to another encounter like a tour guide lol
I can usually tell within 5 minutes of comms whether I’m going to stay in an LFG “kWtD” raid group, this pretty much perfectly sums up the experience of half of the LFG teams I join. It wouldn’t be a problem to even teach people, except that there are so many different kinds of players. You got airplane mic, the guy who talks about god rolls, the guy who’s never done a raid and is just looking for a clear and then when you finally get ready to try an attempt and “assign roles”, everyone forgets, someone leaves, someone doesn’t fully understand, then you’re back to square one

Ever since I started raiding last year, I've experienced this. Although it's usually 1-3 new Vow raiders. It leads to someone that KWTD quitting straight away, which leads everyone to quit, or the new players don't listen, so everyone quits. U can't just ad clear in Vow, which is what I love.
I remember there being this one time, a kid in the lfg team sad he was a expert at RON. He then proceeds to call ad clear for most of the raid and when we needed someone to step up and help with one of the planet swaps he said he was really bad at running. At this point in lfgs we everyone should know that kwtd means you know whats going on and how to execute it. But goddamn theory means shit all if you are practiced with it.
Kinda why I stopped doing LFG and seriously playing D2, this video embodies how I feel about LFG 💀
