I was Rubina Ashrafs class fellow in FSc Lahore college premedical. I have seen her act since day 1. She is the best in the lot sitting here but she was no where near Yumna. Rubina is a good actress. Yumna is not only a good actress but also romantic. She is a Star who has the capacity to pull crowds and she has always done it, irrespective of her role with a very nice innocent aura.
Sirf tere bin me nhi Rubina ne bhaktawar me bhi Yumna ko appreciate nhi kiya hai. Bhaktawar mein yumna ne jaisa kam kiya hai..kisi aur nhi kar sakti thi issi ne hi chalaya hai drama ko.. aur Rubina ne bhaktawar mein bhi Yumna ki tarif nhi ki. Exactly they should watch Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahi first and then Talk OH God the girl was fire there it was an amazing show and brilliantly performed by Yumna, the variety of characters that yumna has played, no other actress has done that way, yumna for me is by far the most versatile actress and as far as looks are considered i just couldn't understand why ppl say she doesn't look good and looks aged, for me she is unconventionally beautiful. They are right Meerub is a very confusing character. Drama itself is entertaining but yumna could have changed some of her scenes if she has power to do that. But in general her acting is good
Her character is confusing because she is not shown that much mature and still had to face so much in her life. And of course no character can be perfect and neither is hers. But she acted it really perfectly and the both leads have done a great job to entertain us. Meerub's character has been written as a young girl who was not mature enough to be married off but she was married to an egoistic person who eventually fell for her and that's the beauty of Tere bin.

In today's real life scenarios, there are youth in that age group, portrayed by Yumna's character, who are in the grey zone. No character is perfect, and these layers is what makes tere bin relatable for the young audience. If she was playing the role of a 50 year old, then yes that character would not be expected to exhibit such follies. But in the context of Meerab, such a learning curve is part of the whole idea of character development.
Then they should not shown meerub at first as a strong independent woman. This show converted her character into a crying brain dead woman!

I think they are absolutely right to judge... Yumna is extremely confused in the whole drama... She is extremely moody and that makes her annoying.. she should mold her role a little bit her own if the script was not good enough... there were many scenes where audience wanted her to say something but she was quiet and sometimes she redirected.. over all drama was good but it had still so many flaws that could be improved
I don’t think meerub is supposed to be a definitive character as she is still finding her feet in life which the point of the drama is to show her going on that journey , yes the audience already knows how immature her character is hence her marriage conditions and dancing at her wedding ect so her helping her duster in law is very realistic for her age range and modern day…
