Other little trivia I love about UMVA: They have a large solar PV system they can sometimes should you if there is time. Also this was one of the first times they used the rammed earth in the country and the UMVA owner was been helping the Rwandan business who did it to grow even more. A really wonderful place!

one of the key highlights of this paradise is the preservation of natural and indigenous plantation in the landscape. Means that the natural ecosystem is intact. I cant wait to visit with my spouse and partake in this marvel

The simple things are also the most extraordinary. Watching the sun rise and set at Umva Muhazi will be a priceless experience.

What’s not to like about Umva Muhazi…the peace n quiet of the surroundings, the views of the lake from the rooms, the sustainability aspect in construction, the earthy tones everywhere….love it, definitely on my holiday’s travel list.

I very much love how everything connects to nature from the beautiful plants, water and the sweet sounds of the birds. The beauty of the Bongalo is really magical but the tennis court and a Yoga space caught my eye.

I obviously love about it that you have chosen the undiscovered pearl lac Muhazi, that it is Made in Rwanda (!) and sustainable at the same time! Amazing!

Wow! I also like that the bed is facing the window and not perpendicular to it. You are paying for the view and not the wall! Love it, again.

Stunning views, peaceful and silent, well thought activities to meditation and relaxation. Strategically placed villas not obstructing each others views. Comfort was keenly managed. I will definitely vacate for a few days.

Hello Vibe House thank you for touring this resort. My favourite thing about the resort is the way the surrounding grass areas have not been overly landscaped. Sometimes lodges landscape the gardens too much and you lose the sense of natural design. At UMVA MUHAZI they seem to have kept the grass areas as natural as possible.
My ultimate favourite thing is the bathrooms and their views of the lake - a really thoughtful gesture from the architect.
Travelling to Rwanda in December from UK - would absolutely relish the chance to see the place.
    Many thanks

what I liked about Umva muhazi first of all the designs are creative and made In Rwanda, so As Rwandese am proud, it is also secluded and of course sustainable but I also enjoyed the privacy of every unit available whilst also accessing lake views, above it all The rooms are clean, very comfortable, and goes beyond to help make the stay enjoyable. I can highly recommend this Lodge to everyone, I myself would love to stay there at once and really enjoy breathtaking views as well as take advantage of being away from the city , walk to dinner, check out the waters, and have drinks. overall enjoy the top notch Service offered.

@@mazwideamahle4091 umva in kinyarwanda means LISTEN but in this context since you cant listen to the lake(Muhazi is the name of the lake that the lodge is situated around) it probably mean FEEL Muhazi(the lake)!!!
