i LOVE that you made the shaved sections pretty short. it's so cool that if you wear your hair down and put it evenly on both sides u would never know that u shaved it at all, but you can also style it to make it look really cool and edgy! It's so versatile :)

I don't know if you've watched her videos but "NibblesOfficial" has a video on how she styled her hair (she used to have this same hairstyle).
I think she did 10 different hairstyles in one video (probably even more).
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one to hit parts of my other hair when I reshave my sides

I did that with my hair but I have almost an addiction to the sound of the clippers and the feeling so I just kept going and would nic a bit of my longer hair and would have to even out the line I ended up with the mackle more hairstyle but the top was chin length. After a year and a half I shaved my sides again about as high up as yours but only as far as the back of my ear but not behind. Ha the urge to make it bigger is real
I feel you on the addiction part! Haha. Plus evening out the line? Guh, so hard, never works, I always just make it worse.

you could pull it off...anyone who is cute or pretty can.you can shave it all underneath but the top and it will cover it..its 2015 i see atleast two or 3 women a day with a shaved head or half shaved. .
When I shave my head, as I get closer to the longer hairs I flip the clippers so that I'm shaving down not up. Maybe that will help so you don't cut your longer hair? 😊
But then you would be shaving in the direction of the hair growth instead of against it, would that affect anything?

doyoulikepotatoes I'm growing my hair back out, haven't noticed any issues. I'm not a professional Lol but flipping the clippers near the longer hairs worked for me.

if you rather keep it shaved always instead of having to reshave every two weeks or what not... then i recomend using a rasor and shaving that part to keep it from being prickliy and growing

I've had my hair like this, but buzzed all around the back too, for over three years now, and I LOVE it. At first, the top was short, in a very masculine cut, with it long in the front. I've been growing it out the whole time and now have a great wedge which hides the buzzed underneath.
Having those deep lines is really great, because it actually gives you more versatility. Being able to wear it down and not show off the buzz cut can be a really nice change some days.
l looks amazing! And props on cutting it yourself - I'd totally butcher my head if I tried that. ^_~

Kool stuff. Just go a little slower next time. Amazon has a trimmer called the peanut. I have the same do except for the back part. I use the peanut for detailing the nooks and crannies. My advice . .. make believe is a brush and you are painting . And a must... a bigger mirror. Fade-well. :)

This video is a bit older, however am wondering, do you recall how many weeks it took for your side-hair to grow to the first portion of the video. I just buzzed my side of my hair .. and I am still “processing” the change. ( I may find I actually like the buzz better , after it grows a bit)... but I am in a we-bit of shock right now lol ( my husband likes it... so that’s good lol)
I've never given the slightest thought to getting a Mohawk before but holy shit I love your death hawk and I kinda want to do it now... Like I've thought about shaving a section on one side before but now I really like the look of your hair... I think ill do one side and see how I like it and if I do shave the other side... Ashley guerra Not rude! Totally valid question. :) I would love to go to a hairdresser for upkeep, but I can't afford it. I reshave sometimes as often as every two weeks. However, I'm thinking of going in to get it styled sometime soon, which would be well worth it :D

if you want some really cool hair try tuning it into an a symmetric bob or even cooler an asymmetric pixie a symmetric can have two short sides if desired or under cut the back also and cut the back jaw length when tied back you will have an undercut pixie with a tail that can double as a Mohawk and if you have the angel wings a deathhawk just some ideas if you want to have fun with your hair ed

when i had my deathhawk i cut layers into it. I ONLY recommend this if you want seriously floofy hair. I was going for a more 80's look so I was content with it. Also, how long did it take you to grow your hair back out from a head shave???????
Sawah Bear The hair at the top of my head hasn't been cut since I shaved my head, which was (at the time of this video) roughly 2.5 years ago. Also good recommendation! I'd have to agree with you, it gives a more fluffy, deathrocker vibe.
