Though we know today that earth is moving around Sun ?Actually i humbely disagree with you as Vishnu Purana has a verse where it is mentioned tgat earth actually revolves around sun and not other way round .

Is thiti calculation accurate??? If so why no one knows were the tabulation value of constants come from and blindly applied in calculation of thiti.
Why then mordern thiti calculation require the aid from NASA website to pridict the exact location of sun and the moon & to determine when eclips would occur. And different places on earth has different thitis. Also it will take about approx 8 min for the sun rise in guda padav after amavasya(new moon), which in turn is in accurate. Yet again ancient Hindus thiti calculators didn't have the idea that earth has it's own precision which lead to the error in thiti calculation. Its only after 500 years after the death of Jesus Christ saw the standardization of panchanga which in turn is inaccurate since again the precision of earth was over seen. And how exactly the angles between moon and sun were known as in different place the angles between the two lines which connects the centre's of sun and moon are also different. And yet again the term called adhika masa is taken from greek terminology metonic cycle

@@Technoholicplus Not only that brother .......out of five siddhanthas established by so called indian scholar Varara mihera "Romaka Siddhanta" is one of them and is derived from Roman literature. We're the tabulation constant to determine thithis is taken directly from that literature, were Romans used trignometery to determine those constant. That's how trigonometry got into post vedic scripture. Even the term called adhika masa mentioned in surya Siddhantha is derived from Roman terminology "Metonic cycle" which is mainly based on tropical division of zoaic. Even then mordern day thiti calculation is done based on the data's from NASA website to determine the position of sun and the moon were 12 degree angle for thiti could be measured and also to determine when the solar or lunar eclipse would occur. Panchanga were not standardised and inaccurate till 5th century after the death of Jesus Christ.
It was standardised after 5th century when moon passes near mesha nakshatra or in greek terminology Aries, the spring bigns. But the fact is that on the the day of Guda padav (new year for some sects of hindus) the amavasya or new moon began approx 8 min after sunrise at ujjen which is again inaccurate, hence correction factor is taken from Roman scripture.
The funniest part is many of them claim that it is theirs and world copied it from them.
