Thanks, I only got into lofi recently, and this is amazing. I had a pretty unhappy childhood, but when grandma went behind my parents back to give me a Gameboy color and Pokemon red version for Christmas, that became a very small bright spot. I asked for yellow, my cousin got it instead, and I didn't even care, I had never been happier. Listening to this at work, lavender town comes on and I almost cry (with nostalgia and happiness!) Thank you again friend for sharing this with us

In 1999 they held a huge tournament at lake forest mall in MD. I only managed to get the first two badges before some middle aged looking man beat me with a glitched 255 lvl Chancey. Being a shy 11 yr old, I didn't think to mention it to the officials. I've always regretted that lol the way the competition was looking, I may have made it to at least the final four. Oh well. Was still fun

Kanto was the 2nd region I explored after Johto. I actually was playing Pokemon Gold and curiously sailed to the east of New Bark Town. That was a good surprise ... So nostalgic. Thank you SeaSilver :')

@@zoidisgoated Blastoise is weaker than Gyarados. I prefer Gyarados design as well. It takes a while to level up Magikarp from 5 to 20 but you get awesome Pokemon.

I miss playing pokemon now that I have so many responsibilities. This used to be my escape from all the hassles in life. Thank you for uploading this, I get to listen the soundtracks that reminds me of my childhood and work at the same time. :)
Christmas morning back in 1998 getting Pokemon blue and a Game Boy Pocket mind u i was also 10 years old (turned 10 on the 22nd) the same age as most trainers begin there journey my god the memories playing all day on Christmas i'll always remember that gift from my parents for as long as i live. Kanto region and sound tracks will always have a special place in my heart .
Still here, this has become a tradition for me at this point to listen to this.

Pokemon Leaf Green and Fire Red were so fantastic and yet so distinct from all the other games in the series. It hits just right.
Got me feelin like I got rare candies and max HPs for days, training and leveling up in this summer haze.
Blue Version on my Gameboy Pocket was the highlight of my childhood.
These remix have been with me the whole week of work at the hospital, they give some piece of mind in middle of all of this chaos and dark times, thanks!

I ran across this and I just happen to restart my Pokémon leaf green ended up finding a special venasaur edition gba online and still had leaf green from way back. Started with bulbasaur of course. The best kanto starter 😂😂 the nostalgia brings me back.
