- Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen has some interesting storytelling going on between Caiatl, Zavala, Crow, and Osiris. This also included the entirety of the Presage mission from the season that showcases a lot of dialogue edited together to look like Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen Cutscenes. This is Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen movie and also includes the missions from Destiny 2 Battlegrounds. This is a collection of all the dialogue moments in the game captured and edited to look more cinematic and create a better viewing experience. I'm trying this as an experiment to see if there is more engagement with the additional lift of editing these to look more cinematic and like a movie. Let me know what you think!

i really liked zavala this season, offering to engage in cabal tradition to forge peace that is beneficial to both parties, alongside his kindness to crow really shows his values as a guardian.
The amount of time, editing and effort that went into this really shows Destin! Amazing video, especially for people like me who missed certain parts of the season.

This was the season I started playing Destiny 2. I miss these Battlegrounds
I think that they added the battlegrounds to the main vanguard strike playlist so you might eventually be able to play one again if you keep going into that playlist.
Destin's out here reminding us that he's still and will hopefully always be a Destiny fan, provided Bungo don't fuck up big time. Plus I actually missed Season of the Chosen, so this is super helpful! Thank you!

I'm trying to get my sister up to speed with the story, since she'd stopped playing since Season of the Hunt and is trying to get back into the game again. The editing really helps to immerse yourself in the story better, because it lets you pay less attention to the "game-ness" of it all, and just focus on the dialog and cutscenes.

I was new light when this season started, I joined halfway through Season 12, played all the previous campaign and dove headfirst into D2. This was my first full seasonal experience. Since this point, sank 3500+ hours.
Man destin, I really appreciate all the work you've put in recording all these scenes ! I've been away from destiny for about a year but I still love the story, the lore, and the podcasts. Just wanted to say thanks bud👍🏻

I skipped last season, so I thought I'd catch up. I found a couple other videos that I didn't even watch 5 minutes of, but this is by far the best! The great "camera" work really adds to the atmosphere too. I think I'll recap previous seasons as well as the future seasons on your channel too. Well done!

Wow this is perfect. Part of why I quit playing Destiny was because of this seasonal story content that you had to keep up with or just miss out on entirely (believe it or not, Bungie, there's other stuff Id like to play besides Destiny..), so I kind of gave up on it. Was interested in joining season of the lost so this and your splicer season video will be a perfect recap. Thanks Destin!

Been going back, re-experiencing content oh so long ago. And listening to Osiris knowing he is being puppeted by Savathuun really makes you think about decisions made here with the help of Savathuun

Never saw the conversation in context so I thought that gilded knife thing was just a bad one liner. Definitely improves bungos writing in my eyes now that I know she was actively referencing something
This season really did have a great story by Destiny standards. I remember when Bungie said Lightfall and Final Shape would be similar in that it would have multiple characters working together with interconnected storylines. I’m still hoping Final Shape will, but with just Cayde and the original Vanguard being the main characters shown, I’m not sure. This season had Osiris, Zavala, Saladin, and Crow all working together and Crow actually had an arc that played out the whole season and was actually developed. It was actually developed and not brought up once or twice in a cutscene and then payed off like the campaigns. Splicer wasn’t too bad, either. The gameplay just wasn’t as compelling
Thank you for this. I just watched the whole playlist. And made me enjoy the game even more. I hyped for the new expansion already thanks to you. Bungie should pay you for this. Sold them a few season passes I'm sure.
But I might say that I like more when the video is separated by missions like the ones before this. Hearing all the audios together is a little confusing of how this happens in-game. At least for me :(

I played the original Destiny when it first came out for like 2 months until I realized I would do the 4 or 5 quests and realize there wasn't much more I can do til tomorrow. Yes ... there was limits to how much you can accomplish a day. And when I realized I was able to do this in 20 minutes and after a few weeks, I hit the level cap. Raids weren't a thing. The game felt lacking. Story wasn't very engaging. So I dropped it.
However. I did like the horrible over the top acting of Peter Dinklage
Destiny has become all about money and and now talks about the cheating on there
cheating is mostly fixed
