- We all can use a little beauty and joy right about now so I am excited to share my Easter table setting inspiration with everyone. Regardless if you have Easter alone or with your Shelter In Place family setting a proper table will defiantly lift your spirits. We are usually planning big holidays like this as a moment to stop the presses and reconnect with friends and family. As we all know the presses have been stopped and reconnecting looks a bit different these days (zoom fatigue anyone?) This Easter table is all about the classic blue & white color palette that just never goes out of style. These incredible white & green flowers are all from my pals @petaldriven (they are still shipping incredible blooms from all around the world!) I'm so glad to see Blue Willow on your Easter table! I picked up a lot of Blue Willow (various manufacturers) at a thrift store a few years ago and it's become my everyday china - just love it! I can understand why Laura Ingalls Wilder's favorite china was her Blue Willow!

Love your table. I wanted to share a personal excitement. I have loved your egg plates from William Sonoma since I saw your Easter video from an earlier year. I had regretted that I had not bought them. Yesterday I found a set on eBay. I will be using them this Easter at my house. Thanks for your ideas.

I wish I could find blue willow for $3. I live in Louisiana and they are so popular it’s hard to find them.
What do you do with magazines, mail, books, and such?
Looks very beautiful, but in my opinion the big bouquets in vases distarb communication for peolple which suppose to sit and eat there.
When the actual dining starts take the large floral arrangement off and replace with lower ones that you have placed else where? It really does not work for people to not be able to see each other.
How do your guests see across the table with that large centerpieces? The rule is "the fist test": make a fist and put your elbow on the table...no center piece should be any taller.
Conceptually it is a beautiful table, but practically it is not effective. I see this a lot in my events and wedding industry, but design should be both functional and beautiful. When vases are this tall and close together, guests cannot see each other across from the table. I would recommend using a short toile or chinoiserie cache pot or planter filled with a floral arrangement. The line of sight should never be obstructed. Otherwise, your composition and elements are lovely!
