      LordWellington15 Well, having been in mass when the cretins deliberately play their sectarian tunes outside doesn't exactly portray them as non-sectarian. Neither does pissing against Catholic Churches and hanging flags deliberately outside Catholic Churches seem non - sectarian to me.

      brendan w The Orange Order isn't sectarian? Umm, okay if you say so.
      I guess that celebration they do every year in the middle of July commemorating supremacy over Catholics isn't inherently sectarian. Nor or their marches, songs or the general make up of their members.
      Not at all.
      But hey, if you want to keep up the charade of them being a bunch of good old boys singing hymns that's cool.
      We won't tell anyone. Nudge nudge, wink wink.

    Ulster has been British for many hundreds of years by the will and choice of the majority of its people, it would be interesting to know whether the current state of Israel lasts as long. If the UK had began pouring concrete and rock in the narrowest part of the irish sea in 1969 maybe by now we would have a united UK Island once again.

    in general this host made good points - but he completely lost me in his argument at the end there, having a go at that john hurson fella for supporting the people of the gaza strip. that's what people do internationally when we hear of a group that is being oppressed. it's why apartheid was ended (nelson mandela gained international support which led to sanctions which led to the dismantling of it). it's why i personally went to rallies to free timor, as did hundreds of thousands of australians - eventually indonesia caved to international pressure. i can understand him being baffled at the protestants who identify with israel just because they're the oppressor and because the catholics identify with palestine (that's the real reason - it was a response to that link). but surely he can understand why communities support others that are being oppressed!? it's natural instinct to want to help if you have an ounce of compassion. i think the only reason he was offended by it was because of his own personal identity. no matter how hard you try to be disaffected, it's a hard thing to let go of.

    • @duMaurier15

      Probably because Israel and the rest of the Zionist sponsors these terrorists. They don't care about what the IRA is fighting for..all they care is the profit they get from war and conflicts. It is like back in the Cold War..the Zionist Jews and Corporate Elites, etc. were on both the Western and Communist side..they were funding and profiting from both from the arms race.

    • @duMaurier15
      @duMaurier15 Před 10 lety +1

      Zionism is not a religion it is more of an evil movement order somewhat like Nazism in my opinion. I have nothing against anyone's religion whether it be Judaism, Islam, Muslim, Buddhism but I do have something against one's attitude thinking their religion is better than the other.
      So when I say "Fuck Zionist Jews" I mean Fuck any jews and anyone who supports exiling and exterminating the Palestinian people and building illegal settlements in the occupied territories, instead of trying to share and cooperate with each other in the planning of a 2 nation state. Split the state into 2 separate countries right down the center if need be like Korea and Germany, Vietnam (did)..lol I know there was conflicts for those countries too. It is not hard to do on paper but obviously the Zionist wants it all.
