Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my CZcams Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

Oh dear. Sudirman is one of my favourite entertainer. Miss him so much. May Allah grant him the beautiful Jannah hereafter.
Thanks a lot to react for Sudirman. He is really talented entertainer. Eventhough i dont know him personally, but i am grew up with all his song. You should hear all of it. He bring all kinds of music in his song. His forte is Traditional Malay and you should hear the song. His song is close with Malaysian social life, that's why his song so easy to be accept by all Malaysian, especially who born around 1980 above. FYI, he and Dato' Siti Nurhaliza actually from same state, as you know Pahang, Malaysia, but different district. He is from Temerloh, while Dato' Siti was born at Kg.Awah in Chenor, Maran but tranfer to Kuala Lipis in her childhood . The district were near each other. He is actually Dato' Siti inspiration to make performance at London when she become an artist, as she is also his fan and merely same state of birth.

That first sing u're talking about is Balik Kampung (going back to village) song. This song is evergreen (all Sudir's songs actually are evergreen). This Balik Kampung song been singing by us Malaysians till now especially when we're otw to go back to our kampung...😁. How we miss him so much!... 😭😭😭

He was born in the same district as Siti Nurhaliza at Temerloh, Pahang.
DS siti lahir di Kuala lipis. Late Sudir was born in temerloh. They are from the same state but not district. And they both debut from RTM program.

I hope you can react to his famous song 'Salam Terakhir' or if translated "Final Goodbye". I think I cry everytime I hear this song, its really an emotional song. If u can understand the meaning I think u will surely cry too...Btw thank you for his biography reaction. Although he died before I was born, but most Malaysian knew this song and became the fav.
I don't know if u know that the song cover by Xpose band n Putera Muhammad titled "Pelangi Petang" is also Sudirman's song which they mashup with "She's Gone" and they arrange to be rock version. "Pelangi Petang" originally is Ballad song from Sudirman.

The first song played in the background "Balik Kampung" isn't actually a raya song. It's a song about his experience, his feeling and what he expect to happen after he arrived to his destination, while on his way back to his hometown and that's it. Nothing related to raya was ever mentioned in that song. But since this song is one of the most played song during raya season, people just automatically assume that this is a raya song.
