"I write to find out what I'm thinking." Deborah Levy is as irresistible as a woman as she is on the page. I love her, her wit and original sense of humor. I love the respect she gives to everyone, especially to the voices of women. She is helping to keep the flame of honest economical elegant feminist writers.
I had never heard of Deborah Levy until today I picked up randomly 'Things I Don't Want to Know' - was utterly gripped and read it through in one go. I am 4 years older than Deborah and also built a snowman in Johannesburg 1964 - in my grandparent's garden. I am delighted by the discovery of her work and grateful for this introduction via spoken word.. I hear in her voice in this interview, the same voice I heard from the page earlier this afternoon. Thanks for such a carefully crafted piece of film.

Thanks for the comment ! :)
What an amazing inspiring woman, I read her two years ago and there's still some sort of string that pulls me back to her.. and here I am again.
