Daria is one of my favorite vocalists in rock. She was still in Slot when she appeared on The Voice. During that time, there was almost no rock music on TV, and they wanted to prove that it could still be popular among mainstream audiences. As far as vocal health goes, I'm not concerned about Daria's voice at all. She's been doing this aggressive style of vocals for decades, and her voice has only improved with time. It's really unfortunate that she had to leave Slot, but she still has her solo band, "Нуки" (spelled as "Nuki" or "Nookie" in English). It's great too, you can check out some of their live performances, and I promise you won't be disappointed.

I quite like this version. It's rough, aggressive and a bit messy, but it sounds good to me.

@@Annuir Historical revisionism at its finest. It was Russian troops who first invaded Ukraine in 2014 in support of a pro-russian unrest that resulted from the Euromaidan protests. The Ukrainian army responded to this invasion and separatist movement. So, claiming that Ukraine just attacked its civilians grossly misrepresents what actually happened, but it accurately describes what Russia has done to violently put down separatist movements (e.g. Chetanya). Lastly, there is strong evidence of Russian soldiers and aligned militias actively and intentionally targeting civilians (e.g. Bucha massacre). Shopping centres and residential buildings aren't military targets, yet they've been attacked. Civilian airlines also aren't legitimate military targets (MH17 Malaysian Airlines).

In the Voice she reached the semi-finals, where she asked her fans to vote for her opponent. If she won, she would have to commit a year to the show's production company, which was impossible. So she made sure to get out before the final, just in case. If she had wanted to, she would have won easily.
