Yes, Asa's new bass solo is amazing and yes, Beni is awesome. But can we talk about how f#*$ing amazing Machiya and Wasabi were in this performance? 🎸🥁
This is probably the one band in a long time where a guitarist of this caliber is overlooked like this
i dont think there are words good enough to compliment that.
The individuals in this band are all so freaking good it's hard to pick out one person. But yes Machiya is some kind of guitar god.
Take notice of Machiya' guitar. It's a 7 string, not a standard 6 string.

Homura is such an incredibly good song. Damn, so satisfying to listen to it every time. Amazing performance from Wagakki as always.
The 1st Japan Tour and now Japan Tour 2020... Homura always gives me goosebumps, but i've really missed the wadaiko and Kurona's screams introducing the band
Me too! I've always felt the wadaiko made a huge difference to the performance. I don't know if it's just me, but their Homura performance in the 1st japan tour was the best. Their energy felt different back then...

やっぱ三味線が中心なんやけど、
本人が「この曲は早く、指が痛くなるからなるべくやりたくないと言ってるし
焔は三味線パートがないと単なる洋楽になってしまう
ベにの三味線無くしてこの曲は無い
これだけ楽器が弾けたらどれだけ気持ちいいか
凄いなって思うのと同時に羨ましい

Holy crap I forget how fast beni is on the shamisen. Her hands are like a blur.
I think she surpassed simile, she now has metaphore status.
She did mention in an interview recently that she hated playing this song as it's so fast she can't move her wrist for a week.
@@Saleem99Bukhari Dang. Homura is one of my favorite songs but that solo did look really difficult. Didn't realize she didn't like playing it. Bummer.

Not only is Asa incredible with the bass but my god Beni is so amazing with her part it’s mesmerizing and I can’t stop listening to that part on repeat, seeing how fast she plays I can understand what she said in a interview about her hand hurting from a week after playing this song

Yeah, without the other three, it's definitely lacking a bit. Nothing against their skill, but the other version is more complete.
@@guitarscoverskevin3517 This was filmed mid-lockdown, and while Japanese authorities were still allowing gatherings, audiences were warned not to scream or shout (puts more spit in the air, dontcha know). So the audiences in 2020 concert footage look awfully sedate. They're still way into it, but they're being restrained due to the circumstances.
