Hallo zusammen.
Heute möchte ich euch, den Bau und das fertige Diorama zeigen.
Der M4 Sherman ist von Tamiya. Die Figuren sind von MasterBox, Dragon und Verlinden. Die Tarnung der deutschen Soldaten war anspruchsvoll, hat aber trotzdem Spaß gemacht.

Today I want to show you the construction and the finished diorama.
The M4 Sherman is from Tamiya. The figures are from MasterBox, Dragon and Verlinden. The camouflage of the German soldiers was demanding, but it was still fun.

I was stationed at a small radar station where the only employee at the BX was a GI's wife who had grown up in Germany. I asked her one time if she had any news from home and she replied that her father had written that the German Army was still winning. She explained that the German movie industry was still cranking out war movies but they were all set in the period when the German Army was still rampaging across Europe; that is before 1944, and were winning every battle. Your excellent diorama reminded me of that.

Great job. I was worried that you would have left them with parade polished boots when painting. Loved the muddy treatment you gave them. Love how you also got all the insignias correct for the Blue Devils. Awesome work!

Freakazoid aka Ben When I fist saw the soldiers kit I wondered how injured they would end up. I am glad you didn't over do it however I did want to see blood staining the pant leg of the injured man.
Also, is the man face down in the dirt dead? If so, what did he die from and how might that look? Might he be in a pool of blood? Is that too real?
I'm not trying to be negative. Just saying a little blood goes a long way in story telling.
With your impressive attention to detail.....makes me go hmmmmmmm.

Yes, the G.I. who lies on the ground should be dead. he was shot, I wanted to portray his death dignified, so I took less blood.

It is amazing, the tank, soldiers, bushes and trees there are so much details.
I built a 1/72 diorama with a M4 Sherman in a French town with a ruined house:)
(Found the rabbit, its near the telegraph pole:D )

Nice one Ben, well constructed diorama & video. Great to se all the different elements coming together, final piece looks great 😀👍
One thing perhaps would nice is to include the product number of the various items you used from kits, Noch, Mininatur etc...., either in text on the video, or in the video notes. Some of the scenery elements look very nice, be good for fellow modelers to know what to search for...? Well presented, subbed 👍
