Kate & Anthony had me gripped and didn't let up (even now) but I still wish this triangle mess wasn't pushed all the way to the altar for the sake. Shout out to Jonny & Simone being able to convey so much with the stolen looks, intense eye contact, making the most of all the small moments and magnetic body language - their chemistry is top tier!
Unsure how anyone at that wedding didn't see their connection but instead believed an intermission happened due to the bride feeling unwell. The rumors about leeches, negotiating honeymoon details or other nonsense put out by the palace to find Lady Whistledown seemed so strange! It seems like this wedding was mainly for the Queen Charlotte spin-off but yeah, super messy and uncomfortable as hell to get through 🥵

Kate manipulating Edwina???? Kate was against Anthony as match for Edwina since day 1. She wanted a love match for Edwina and knew Anthony didn't want that. Anthony told Edwina in episode 2 that he could give her what she wanted and when Kate repeated that he couldn't Edwina the love she deserved Edwina just called him "an honest man" and went after him. She had so many options. Not to mention that Edwina was willing to marry a guy she believed her sister hated and who hated her. A guy who humiliated her sister in episode 2. She thought they hated each other and still forced Kate to spend time with Anthony to get her proposal. All season Kate was bending over backwards to what Edwina wanted even when she had a different opinion. Not once did Edwina listen to Kate. So how and when did Kate manipulate her?

But I mean when Kate knows that Anthony doesn’t love Edwina but loves her and she loves him but still makes sure that he marries Edwina so her reputation isn’t ruined. But when of course she wanted Edwina to have a love match when she already knows from the beginning Anthony doesn’t have the right intentions (but then also finds out he loves her instead). It was just all messy and my heart broke because Edwina didn’t know all this was going on behind the scenes
@@katlikethatprodz Yeah I don't think Kate ever manipulated Edwina which is why her girlboss speech makes less sense when she said Kate lost her power. In ep2, Edwina went after Anthony even though Kate clarified what he said "Did you hear that, Bon? He cannot give you the love you deserve." but she still went after him, pushing her sister and that advice away. Now at the end of ep6, she says she cannot mary Anthony "You cannot provide me with what it is that I want. What it is that I deserve."
Things got heated quite quickly in every way possible... That was one messy wedding.
