Even when individuals turn themselves in, they often will have an overnight stay. FOX 5 has reported extensively about everyday jail conditions, and a family member of one inmate spoke out.

Most jails are just as filthy with mold on the walls growing they clean up good if someone important is coming for a visit n after tht it's survival. Prayers for all in these situations.

Where are the Federal funds you get for taking care of your city? Better check with your people who take care of your books, or cook the books. Why aren't you questioning any of this! Inmates have been there for 10 years waiting for a judge!?! Let's face it people, they don't care about you~. Get yourselves some attorneys who handle class action!!

I was in this jail before, but They need to look into the Alleghany county jail in Pittsburgh,PA! Its just as bad and i know of countless women thT were Sexually assaulted there also and they barely do anything to fix the problems. The showers before you go upstairs are so nasty and the holding, omg you could be there for a week with no meds, no shower and barely any food. That place is soooo messed up, u can get drugs in there just as if you were on the streets. Crazy place. The c.o.'s are either making ur life and day hard or trying to sleep with u. I could go on! I won a lawsuit against them in 2016 i know it didnt get any better

I have no sympathy! Oh gee poor me I’m being bitten by bedbugs! Tell that to the person you robbed to get into prison how terrible it is to be bitten by bedbugs. Oh poor me! There’s water leaking, my prison door is off its hinges, I get terrible medical care! Tell that to the victims you robbed, raped, shook down, molested, tortured and cut into pieces strewn all over the state, and those who can’t afford medical care! I don’t care! You put yourself in prison not exactly because you were a model citizen. Maybe if prison is bad enough you’ll avoid it. Inmates die in this place? Tell that to murder victims’ family whose murderer is sent up. I’m sure they wouldn’t care if inmates died who killed others in far worse ways! How about people have more sympathy for the victims of criminals and their families for a change! Prison isn’t supposed to be a country club. You got sent up because you harmed others not caring about their welfare!
