Thanks Patrick! These Hidden Gems videos make me want to go back to Barcelona again. Was there 10 years ago in Dec, key tourist places were manageable and enjoyable then. but quite a few of the hidden gems I missed. Next time I am there I definitely look for you as a guide!

My favorite Gaudi house is Palau Guell ❤ It was the first one I visited and casa Batlló and casa mila were somewhat disappointing after 😂

Hay Patrick, a couple of questions if I may? I will be bringing my teenage son to Barcelona in early April for a dad & lad trip. Can you suggest a couple of things a teenage boy might enjoy? Also, does Montserrat monastery get decent sunsets? Any other ideas greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hi Neil! Montserrat has nice views, yes! A teenager might like the Barça Museum, a boat trip, a cooking class or some other activities, to name a few

I stayed 3 times in El Ravel, each time on Carrer de Joaquin Costa and never once felt unsafe as a single female traveler. I would walk out to a couple of little Tapas bars behind the hotel next to MACBA late in the evening and was never troubled. I felt more afraid in Placa Catalunya. Palau Guell will have to go on the list as a "Must see" for my next trip as I missed that one. Sant Paul del Camp is another one to add. Next time I hope to be in Barcelona for a whole month.
If you have a whole month you’ve got plenty of time to see them both! When are you coming back?
Would like to think this Summer but it is a long way from Australia and a family health issue may mean I don't get there. I'm hoping to rent an Apartment rather than stay in a Hotel. I've seen quite a lot of Barcelona but like you said there are so many little hidden treasures.@@PatrickGuideBarcelona
Why its very smelly in Barcelona streets? its smells mierda in many parts. In Madrid and other cities in Spain you don't have this terrible smells.
Actually I think some parts of Madrid smell worst than Barcelona but idk

i havent noticed... until 2022 ...i was there twice and the smell was present
