    Thank you for this video. Aside from the obious: You need to sound-treat that room - please consider making the music more quiet or omitting it at all. In instructional pieces you don't want to get distracted by unimportant background noise.

      Thanks for the feedback! Definitely taking it to heart and I’ve been making some adjustments behind the scenes as well. Always helpful to hear good feedback though

    Great advice. May I suggest that you improve your audio with a better mic or reduce the hall sound effect.

    Love the content brother. really appreciate you spending time to make this. I had a bit of a hard time understanding when to use color management and when to use transform. seems like use transform for individual clips but if you have a video with all the clips from the same camera you can use color managed?

    • @RaoulEnoiu
      @RaoulEnoiu  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you! Much appreciated. Yeah usually color space transform I'm trying to achieve something more specific like going from my grade to a film log before adding an FPE LUT for example. Or like I covered just briefly in the video if I bypass color managed then CST might be helpful to convert a clip from another camera into rec709. As a rule of thumb I'll typically jump right into a color managed project almost 99% of the time because it gives me the most latitude for all clips and I can still individually right click on my timeline clips and change the input color space if I have to.

    nice content. If I shoot in gamma HLG 3 with a sony a7iii with BT2020 as color choice what's the input I am supposed to choose?

    • @RaoulEnoiu
      @RaoulEnoiu  Před 2 lety

      Thank you! It's been a while with HLG but I believe it's Rec2020/Rec2100HLG. That should get you the right input for HLG footage.

    I'm strictly using color space transform in the color tab.
    I've always been frustrated by color managed - especially trying to match different camera footage on the same timeline AND worse, any titles, graphics and animations being too dark and needing to be put into compound clips to fix.

    • @RaoulEnoiu
      @RaoulEnoiu  Před 2 lety +1

      I agree I only use it in nodes to have full control. Maybe if you’re only working with one type of camera for all footage but that’s rare maybe on smaller stuff. Otherwise it becomes a hassle.
