After watching Age of Adaline, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and The Haunting of Hill House, I can’t help but notice that Michiel’s projects always have something to do with his love towards books. Which, makes me love him more the more I get to know him.
That’s true! I’ve yet to make my way through some of these but I adore these movies and like to revisit the storylines/meanings behind them.
Blake to me is the most beautiful actress in history. I felt so connected to this movie for reasons I really can't explain. I've watched is about 20 times.

i watched the movie yesterday and i have to say it's one of the best movies I've ever seen
There is something so mysteriously compelling & hauntingly beautiful about the storyline of it. It is magnetizing, mesmerizing & mystical w/how it flows & the acting is so magical & realistic, especially the chemistry shared between Adaline & Ellis-I do NOT feel any other actors could’ve portrayed these characters any better than these 2-they were incredible together & each character had its own uniqueness & how they were acted out here, just phenomenal!!! I’ve been watching it repeatedly and/or just parts of it this past 2 weeks actually, because I’m so in love w/the *energy* of - it -for some very inexplicable reason…crazy, but cool!!!

Wrong
They basically explained why in the end why I wouldn't want to live forever. I have a reason why I want to enjoy natural cycle of life and that's because of the people I love.
I cannot think of anything worse than immortality. The point of live is that you only get one shot, no do overs, so that puts pressure on to get it right. I do not want to live a long life, I just want to live 'enough'.

The actors clearly struggle to understand the interviewer.. You can almost feel it

Yeah kinda but he still has an american swoon on it 😛 You barely regonize it. For a Dutch person his american/english accent is flawless.
I mean if you look up Carice van Houten you will notice the big difference. Carice can only hide her Dutch accent somehow when she has a script..interviews are the real test because they do not know what to expect 😛

At the end of "the good place" they run into a similar problem of now that yiu can live forever what's there to live for, aging is normal and healthy

I have a science background, and that prevents me from enjoying movies like this. Miracles or supernatural facts are a cheap resource for a writer without ideas. I would have written about a woman that does not want to make commitments.

A movie is a story and does not have to be real because it IS a movie, which is why there are science documentaries for people like you who don't like to watch movies such as this one, although you don't have to automatically enjoy one or the other. And that's totally fine. We're all different. It's not because writers don't know what to do that they write something that's not reality. And that's the point of them writing something unreal. That's what he/she wanted. That's just like saying to someone that they are not ''allowed'' to dream. Movies are not supposed to be always reality. That's the magic about it. This movie also teaches you something but that's up to you to see it. It's a beautiful story, not a documentary. There are no comparison possible here. Science documentaries are not made for the same purpose at all. Hope it makes sense because I'm french...

Especially when this is exactly on of the rare stories where they try to give a cold scientific twist to it instead of the miracles or supernatural event you dislike. It maybe science fiction but in the movie itself the events are dedicated to science nonetheless. For me that was a refreshing change compared to most ''magical romances''

joyrio1 Whether or not she has had work done, she does not seem to have overdone it. There is no appearance of artificiality. She was stunning in the movie. A majority of movie stars have had work done: Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez to name a few.
No she is not...I saw teenage picture she still the same only her teeth is fixed..don't get so much jealousy becoz she is pretty that much.
