Richard and Jonny are masters at this! They're so funny because they know what they're mocking when they do comedy, but that same knowledge makes them great presenters when they dial it back a couple notches. Still funny, light-hearted engaging, but knowledgeable; not just on the cars as material objects, but on the love, humor, gravitas, and heritage that went into their appeal.
Your children will call it kermit???....OMG STOP, just stop.
This week they're heavily into second hand cars, basically in Goodwood.

They do/did on YT. They used to do video car reviews and chat, mainly sitting / driving the cars. Now however it's mostly podcasts.

Once I got a free ticket for the Festival of Speed by getting an invite to the Bonhams auction. Ended up buying a Maserati. Most expensive free ticket I ever had !

I was near Hereford in the early 1990s, a few army trucks (Bedford MK's) in front of me, they were pulling trailers too. Four of those buggies - looking like something from Tamiya - under loose fitting tarps which were flapping about and revealing parts of the vehicles. I thought at the time "surely they're not SAS and VW beetle based?!!" Now you've solved the mystery for me!

I think the problem with that Lagonda Taraf is the front looks less like an Aston Martin and more like a Ford Fusion, or the last of the Australian Falcons. Not ugly, but not worth paying millions for 🤷♂️
