AEW takes a bunch of shots at WWE no one says anything but WWE says something and people blow up thinking it's a shot at AEW, it's not a shot he's stating a fact
Nothing like a wwe loyal employee saying that after years of being considered the secondary company to the competition. And before anyone give up in their loyalty fee-fees during the Monday night war there was a time wwe *WAS the secondary company*
He stated facts. ANYBODY who dreams about being a pro wrestler has WrestleMania or the WWE world championship on their mind.
That was hunter talking about himself WCW vs WWF
It’s not taking a shot when it’s 100% accurate
i mean, it is a fact. wwe is the number 1 established wrestling entertainment franchise right now, and has been for a while. technically, aew is the secondary show at the moment bc it’s still new 🤷🏾♀️
Wwe aew will combined talent share it ..they really r promoting each other
Fact! As wrestling fans we all grow up wanting to be the wwf/wwe champion and winning at wrestlemania
If that’s “taking a shot” that is one of the mildest shots I’ve ever seen.
Key point he said "I didn't grow up dreaming of being in a secondary promotion" nothing to do with Cody.. he came up in the mid 90s when AEW wasn't even a thought... The only promotion back then that even rivaled WWF at the time was WCW an you all know what happened there hense the attitude era etc an seen as wrestling has only just started to have a glimpse of what it once was now Vince has finally fucked off an hunter has taken over says a lot. The guy knows what he is on about an only person that ever held Cody back an even his brother and father back was Vince. He came back as soon as Vince was out of the picture altogether
Bro comparison isn’t even necessary one’s been around forever the other is a few years old. I personally just enjoy both and am happy wrestlers have better options to make a living
a big difference is that when AEW takes shots at WWE they're punching up whereas WWE taking shots at AEW is punching down. also HHH saying something about AEW is completely different from someone like Max Caster saying something about WWE.
As a hardcore AEW fan he is stating a fact.
AEW All In has surpassed ticket sales of SummerSlam!
No, he was talking about a time when it did not even exist, it wasn't an AEW comment. It was a comment out of context,
I mean it’s true it’s like if a new basketball league to rival the nba was made and you win the championship there it’s not gonna feel the same .. it’s just the history behind the league / company, and they deserve to brag about it, it takes hard work to maintain wwe stardom for so long, even at there worst they sold tickets.
That’s just a fact. If anything it’s a solid compliment.
