I'm happy that the kid succeeded but still upset that the father never got justice. Honestly if the bridge was so important that the man who built it became a disgrace after it collapsed, then why did the police not investigate the cause and find out the truth. Seriously an innocent man spent years in jail and the rest of his life disgraced just because other people couldn't do their job properly. If you look at it this movie shows the reality of this world. While cop shows no matter the country makes all cops look competent and good at their jobs the truth is that only a small percent of them are capable the rest are incompetent.
Its said that it was a conspiracy that led to the collapse, so the cops would have been bribed too. Mostly construction company involved would have made a ton of money and they probably arranged this guy as a scapegoat.
