I've heard the name Coheed and Cambria get thrown around a lot but never really listened to them. My classmate was talking to me about them a few days ago and I was very interested about the stories in each album, so I decided to give them a try... I don't think I can go back to listening to any of my other favourite bands because these guys are just incredible at what they do and so expressive in the way they play. I don't feel like I've discovered a new band, I feel like I've dove into a surreal life experience. I get emotions that I can't put into words or express with satisfaction when I listen to this band. It's all so strange, but I know it's a good feeling. I know for certain that C&C are going to stay with my for many lifetimes as the best band I've ever heard.
This is exactly how I felt when I first discovered them during the Welcome Home days. I listened to the music, read the storylines(sadly haven't gotten copies myself), and became enthralled in this world. He does a great job at making songs about more than a single subject, something that can be felt without knowing the story behind it. These guys actually helped me with a lot of struggles after my best friend passed away in a car accident. Afterman: Descension helped a TON with those emotions. I probably wouldn't have been able to pinpoint some of those emotions without the help of that album. Away We Go will always bring tears to my eyes because of this.
To my beautiful soul mate ❤ Georgina Elizabeth Huxley. You were taken from me and the whole world at the age of 47. I swear we will be together for eternity and beyond, I love you gina.
This rendition brings me to tears, Claudio and Travis really know how to convey emotion and hit those vulnerable spots we all have. RIP Meri Amory, he's going to find you.
claudio's voice and the general sound of coca make me feel so comfortable and at home. maybe cuz i been listening to them since i was in highschool or maybe it's just that awesome
acoustically there is no other duo like Claudio and Travis. Not to mention the penmanship. His writing skills are on a whole other level. Love Coheed and have been blessed to see them live multiple times plus Claudio alone at the Chameleon in Lancaster Pa.
I don't usually comment on music videos of any kind but this just turns my soul to jelly and shoots it around the moon. They are such a fucking amazing band.
Sadly for some the messages are found too late and the shared experience portrayed through there music is viewed in a melancholy hindsight that can leave you staggered. I have enjoyed coheed for many years and it has only been recently that I have been mature enough to see the myriad feelings and emotions layered throughout their albums. Thank you Coheed and Cambria for helping others know they never struggle alone.
One hundred thirty four thousand four hundred and seventy four views. doesn't possibly express the admiration that you deserve for such an iconic acoustic song. You guys deserve way more admiration for something like this. The world is fucked up with hypocrisy, and bullshit. But when I hear Coheed i actually feel there is hope. Because it actually makes me feel something in a world where I'm trained to feel nothing. Thank you.
I saw them later that night at Jannus Live and they are amazing both live and acoustic but when it's all of them jamming idk the energy is just through the roof.
Yes he does.. and if you see in the background.. there is one there, and Travis is playing a Taylor.. have never seen Claudio with a Martin before..nice to have a variety..
Their studio versions have me punch dancing deep in a woodland grove, while Claudio's live acoustic versions of the same songs will %99 of the time have me on the side of my bed smiling with watery eyes. This one breaks through regardless, though.
I wish he would have, too. however, i really enjoy when coheed changes things up when they do acoustic stuff. honestly, i prefer some songs acoustic over the original just because of how different it sounds (this song in particular)
Fucking claudios vocals and travis's lead this song couldn't be anymore perfect...people take what coheed and cambria stand for I've been a fan since shabutie you have to read the comics the novel to even somewhat understand claudios genius mindframe well done love the new album
First of all i think claudio looks sexy with this whole look hes got goin on and two this song idk what it is about it i just feel theres something in there i can relate to! Lol
Hey are u say on all things coheed and cambria? Do u know what meaning the song "Pearl of the Stars" has or how or why he was inspired to write that song T-T
if you watch their guitar center session he did amazing backing vocals there, every other recording I've heard of him singing is okay at best and horrendous at worst

claudio is like a magical wizard
I love the original of their songs, but damn, their acoustic versions just capture more of the emotion in Claudio's voice.. His sweet, sweet voice...
this song fit me perfectly for so long, it help me grow so much and its amazing to look back on it all now.
To my beautiful soul mate ❤ Georgina Elizabeth Huxley. You were taken from me and the whole world at the age of 47. I swear we will be together for eternity and beyond, I love you gina.
The fact that the first line is "In those discouraging days, I always missed the mark" makes it even better
This rendition brings me to tears, Claudio and Travis really know how to convey emotion and hit those vulnerable spots we all have. RIP Meri Amory, he's going to find you.
I mentioned the main character of my book, The Star Pirates, playing this song as she begins to reflect on her life. I love this group and this song.
That book probably sucks
Where to buy your book?
Do you need illustration?
claudio's voice and the general sound of coca make me feel so comfortable and at home. maybe cuz i been listening to them since i was in highschool or maybe it's just that awesome
its simply that awesome..pure musical genius
same I've listened to them since i was eleven
I like the slippage..and it shows how awesome Claudio is, he makes mistakes sound great
This song gives me chills every time I listen to it
acoustically there is no other duo like Claudio and Travis. Not to mention the penmanship. His writing skills are on a whole other level. Love Coheed and have been blessed to see them live multiple times plus Claudio alone at the Chameleon in Lancaster Pa.
"I gave my everything for all the wrong things"...amen brother
This gives me chills! LOVE IT!!
this song hits home
*I gave my everything...*
That slip note actually created a pretty cool chord structure.

This is just great i always feel raw emotion from Acoustic Live cover of one of their own Co&Ca
I love it when he really belts it out! I feel it all.
So soul-felt! I love their acoustic stuff! The originals are always just epic, but you can see the true emotion behind them live and acoustic :D

Dem Chops! :D I love this man and all he has given to this world. His music truly has no equal.
HOLY SHIT I have that exact same Make a Model Guitar that Claudio is playing Martin and Co D-28
Thank you. Thank you so much for this.
One of my favorite Coheed songs for sure, but this acoustic version is my absolute favorite.
I loooooooove when they play their songs acousticly omgggggggg
Claudio's voice will never cease to amaze me
He gave his everything....
This right here is shweeeeeeet, God bless Coheed :)
The comments are really starting to get strange BUT ANYWAY finally a band I can stand not from the 90's & in this era yay ;)
I saw them later that night at Jannus Live and they are amazing both live and acoustic but when it's all of them jamming idk the energy is just through the roof.
OMG This man
Still my favorite version of this song!!!
His voice sounds so emotional but especially acoustic like this :)
Love this song 3!!
Hits home, going through divorce and custody b.s........ perfection, even to the story😍
Yes he does.. and if you see in the background.. there is one there, and Travis is playing a Taylor.. have never seen Claudio with a Martin before..nice to have a variety..
PERFECT SONG !!!!!!
Love it !!!
Their studio versions have me punch dancing deep in a woodland grove, while Claudio's live acoustic versions of the same songs will %99 of the time have me on the side of my bed smiling with watery eyes. This one breaks through regardless, though.
i love how he can even make his harder songs sound good acoustic
If you haven't listened to the acoustic version of Here We Are Juggernaut, you should.
fantastic.
This chord mistake at the beginning riff and claudio opening his mouth in shock was worth it
i wish i weould die so many times, this brings me back.thank you. I can
t explain how much it means
maynardjesus I've died a thousand times living these lyrics. ❤💔❤

That smile when it first went to Claudio's face killed me.

My girlfriend asked me if he was African American, and I said, "No, he's a Latino/Poodle mix."
I think he is also Italian too
al3x and poodle xD
Please tell me u slapped ur gf while those words rolled out of her mouth /0/
Hailey Byrne seems like your GF isnt the smartest, eh?;D
Lol she sucks clearly
Beautiful. Although I wish he had sung the entire chorus an octave above like he does in the album version because it sounds a lot more powerful.
I wish he would have, too. however, i really enjoy when coheed changes things up when they do acoustic stuff. honestly, i prefer some songs acoustic over the original just because of how different it sounds (this song in particular)
Adam Bouliane it's like one of those bring u back to earth kinda song T-T
Fucking claudios vocals and travis's lead this song couldn't be anymore perfect...people take what coheed and cambria stand for I've been a fan since shabutie you have to read the comics the novel to even somewhat understand claudios genius mindframe well done love the new album
I just want to touch Claudio's hair...

Doesn't he usually play Taylor acoustics?
Whats up with the martin, claudio i thought you were a taylor man

I'm back down the C&C rabbit hole. Time for my life to be consumed again

I would like to personally thank the CZcams comment section for making me hear dark sodomy every time I hear this song!
You got that right Falcon. Way too many times..
even 3 dislikes is way to much
three people slipped and hit the wrong button...

Another reason to NEVER read the comments before watching the vid...
How would that annoy someone ._.

Travis is to loud. otherwise great performance!

I love the song and I love this band.
but don't ever let Travis Stever sing ever again! Leave the backups to Josh Eppard good God man.
How about you try to hit those harmonies, douchebag?
Sounds like he's saying Dark Sodomy
That's so messed up but I can't help but laugh. LMFAO
travis's solo work is amazing, but i dont think he should ever be given a microphone...
haha right? I think he tries too hard
if you watch their guitar center session he did amazing backing vocals there, every other recording I've heard of him singing is okay at best and horrendous at worst
I would say Claudio is like Jesus, but he's way better than that.
hearing the dock sodomy.... well you know how sailors are...
Duck sodomy
Travis. you're great. but please stop singing. I know you have your own band in which you sing in, and that's great. but keep it over there please.
Alexander Small You're just peanut butter jealous!
