Confidence comes as a form of result of hardwork you have done. And seeing the so called plus sized fat guys I don't think they are planning to do it at all and just are coping with what you are by putting on some clothes that makes them look fashionable when instead they should be investing time in working out and stuffs

But personally, I never understood the notion that u can feel confident and genuinely good in nice clothes, when the fact is you feel shame, guilt, inadequate from the result of having little self control and not taking care of your appearance from overeating, along with the physical aches and pains from having a large amount of weight compressing your joints and making your heart work painfully just to walk up some stairs. The clothes are just hiding the physical result of you disrespecting your body and health. The shit will catch up with you so you should be aiming to reach a healthy bodyweight for your height. This is all coming from a former obese dude
