Passage/Home was a promenade site-specific performance with nine dances, ten short films, and two media installations. Close to a hundred performers from The Wooden Floor, ages 10-18, took part inside and outside the entire Santa Ana Wooden Floor campus.
Passage/Home draws on The Wooden Floor’s inventive energy. It transforms the organization’s flagship location into a multiplatform stage and exhibition space for ten performances encompassing dances, multimedia, and visual installations. Each vignette touches on its
subject matter, drawing from The Wooden Floor’s past, present, and future mission. Passage/Home is about creative possibilities, exploring the unknown together, and welcoming audiences into our home away from home.
