I've been really loving cody's videos lately- i feel like his videos still are *relatively* the same as when it wasn't as frequent so it doesn't feel like its a different channel. From a viewer's standpoint, I've noticed creators who mix in some "deeper" (ex. Cody's Dahr Man script one) videos once every 1-2 months and then post less intense ones in-between, keep me engaged with them long term (years vs months). As a supporter, no one wants to see a creator they like burn out. That method seems to help balance the needs of the creator and wants of the supporters.

I feel like the reason all these award shows are losing viewership so hard is largely because their target audience doesn't have cable anymore and the fact that all the highlights get posted on social media. I know everything important/noteworthy that happened at the VMAs because it's all over Twitter in clips and photos. No need to watch it. If they want those shows to be profitable they have to figure out a way to block or monetize people doing that on social media. That or just simultaneously stream it on CZcams (with ads or have everybody pay like 5-10 bucks to watch). But people watching the live broadcast of award shows on tv/cable is very dead now.
@@22Angelbby TikTok stars have no impact on these shows. It's the fact that people are abandoning cable like I was saying. Particularly young people. Even people who would watch specifically for the TikTokers aren't watching because they watch highlights on social media instead of watching the live broadcast. It's a change in how people consume content. It's not because "ugh we hate influencers". People growing up now DONT hate influencers and TikTokers, they hate cable lol.
