Wow. What a treasure trove of ideas to try! Thank you for a great tool for getting ideas out of my head and actually produced. The post it note idea is perfect for me as my planning skills are non-existent. I can save ideas until the cows come home, but then I never refer to those lists again. Now I have the missing piece between buying and using.
What a grand idea! I am always buying things & when they arrive I have completely forgotten what I wanted it for!
All the cards are beautiful. But my favorite is the one with the blue butterflies.

Love your videos and your note paper idea just to add: I screen shot all the cards I'd like to make from the stamp & or die print them and put them in my pocket with the die and or stamps shows me why I purchased them 6 months down the road LOL

Great video Jennifer!! Love the idea of adding the post it note. I have purchased so many things in the past after watching a video and now that I've had them for a while, I don't remember why I bought them! 😕 If I would have written it on a post it note I could easily figure out what I wanted to do with it. I do the same thing all of the time!! I am going to start her post it note idea from now on and I just received that kit today so I think tonight I am going to play for awhile.
I never consider videos as long nor a waste of my time. I watch Tim Holtz and SMS videos that are 2-3 hrs in length. I enjoy seeing videos that incorporate old with new products since I’ve been crafting for 24 yrs and have products from yrs ago. I’m one that still likes to use eyelets and brads as well as sequins and Nuvo drops. You help me look at old products in new ways.

Such a wonderful wealth of information. I have learned so much from you over the years. As my income has decreased with disability, I have learned how to make my money for further, and more options of what I already have in my stash. I've been at this a long time, and I still have every stamp set I ever purchased. It's fun to go back through old stamps. New ideas start popping.

These are great ideas … specially love the shades of blue and white card. Note to self: write down my ideas!
I love all the tips in this video. I try to do the same when buying a new set. How often will I really use it, how can I use, etc…. I also watch CZcams demonstrators and save the videos in playlists I created. Ex. Tonic Studios kits, Tonic Studios Showcase, Hero Art Kits, etc… that way I go to the folder and find videos easily.
I also have playlists in CZcams with heat embossing tips, blending tips, etc..

I watched your Butterfly Pop Up (May 2022) video using Reverse Confetti butterfly dies with acetate strips to pop up butterfly wings. I used your affiliate links for butterfly stamp and die at SSS (no longer available) and Reverse Confetti (website inactive) I'm so disappointed (I love butterflies) 😭. This HA kit looks like a good alternative 🙂. TFS 💕🫰🕊️

I have two craft journals 1) where I sketch 5 plus ideas for each die set (or other item) I purchase and 2) a journal of general card ideas. I've found both to be invaluable when I hit a creative dry spot. Thanks for the 5 uses suggestion.
I don't know how you continue to come up with new ideas and techniques, but I love it! You always inspire me to try new things.

Do you do this same kind of brainstorming with "basic" supplies, like nested circle dies and/or a die of a specific basic sentiment? And a related question: would you consider doing a follow-up video showing what this might look like with a stamp set?
These are great tips and beautiful cards. I’ve been keeping my cardmaking ideas in my Apple notes but I like the idea of the Post-It notes better.
I especially enjoyed the touchback to a past technique. I remember piecing together multiple flower diets to make a frame, similar to the card you made here with the blue butterflies. It took some time, but it was lovely! Great to be reminded of techniques I haven't thought to use in quite some time. And the butterflies....is there anyone who doesn't just love butterflies?!
I keep my ideas in a travelers notebook and then as I make cards I keep the list of supplies for each card so I have it when I post my pics. I also make a note of any youtubes or pinterest boards right in the product pockets so I can go back and find them. Helps me keep using things. thanks as always for sharing and all your inspiration.
