How do you prefer to wear the Water Fresh Tint?
I use it just sheer. I love it that way. Sometimes with the healthy glow powder... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Me too, I think it's my favourite way to wear it with a bit of powder over top.
I really love this foundation! I got medium as well and it’s a touch dark. I’m going to swap it for medium light 😁

I love it. I wear the water tint over my tinted sunscreen. Seems to work great! I use just a little powder in my T-zone. So pretty on you. Thank you.

I love this product! It’s my no makeup. Makeup🙂 I have mature skin and this gives me a dewy luminous finish.. combine it with the lesbeige eyeshadow palette and it’s a beautiful look. I love the fuller coverage foundations but find they accentuate fine lines ... this is the one for me!

Yay Allison! I’ve also decided that my favorite way to use Le Teinte is to apply it first as a luminous dewy primer !👌. Then I apply a thin layer of foundation over it to get a lovely fresh skin finish for the summer months! I’m really enjoying it. Thank you for demonstrating & sharing 😃. Btw, I am using the Sublimage foundation in B30. Its perfect for my more mature skin. Xoxo 😘 Deb

I didn't think if layering the Sublimage foindation over top but that's a great idea! Especially considering how luminous the Sublimage finish is on its own.

I love this! For reference, I’ve got excellent skin naturally, so I never wear foundation AND I’m in a hot, humid climate (lower 48). This is perfect for adding just enough moisture + a little brightening. I go a tint lighter than I would if I wanted coverage & it lets me cut out concealer unless I’ve had a rough night. Acts as a nice base for my eye & cheek colors so they stick better AND it’s just enough for my dry skin without turning into an oil slick in the heat. My super sensitive skin loves it. No bumps like I’d get with heavier stuff. I’ll definitely be buying more when this runs out. Me, only better 👍🏻

I’m in the same boat. I have really good skin, and just kinda want to even out my complexion as well as add some moisture. So, the reasons that most people dislike it is exactly why I think it’ll work for me, and I went ahead and bought it.

Wonderful video. I was initially ambivalent when this specific foundation formula was initially released. However, once I starting breaking up the pigment spheres and layered it with one layer of the Chantecaille cushion foundation as powder or La Mer setting powder I realized I loved it. Thank you for an excellent, straight forward video. Glad to have found your channel.

No it doesn't somehow, it gives a really nice finish with the sponge.
I picked up in the shade deep. My fav way to wear it is as a primer, it really does give a great glow. I’ve got dry skin so i like the added moisture. Still i think in my review video i didn’t think it was a must have, the Les Beiges is still my fav Chanel foundation.
It is a particular product since it is so incredibly sheer. I do love to wear it as a primer, but the longer I have it the more I love to wear it as a super light weight "foundation". It feels to light to call it a proper foundation 😂 🤣
I use it just sheer. I love it that way. Sometimes I use the healthy glow powder.on the top. I do the same like you, I apply my concealer before for better results. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hello! Thus far I’ve been wearing it on its own or over the Tatcha sunscreen and it looks really pretty. I tried it once with the Olay Sun Facial Sunscreen + Antioxidants SPF 35 + Makeup Primer (that’s the name of the Olay product 🙄) and a little of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder and it oxidized big time. 😡 Perhaps I should try it with the Chanel Les Beiges powder? (I don’t have any Chanel powders in my collection...) I’m definitely going to try it next with my Vitalumiere Moisture-Rich Radiance Foundation. 🙌🏻 Thank you for the application suggestions! Ugh that's the worst when products oxidize! I think pairing it with the Vitalumière or the Les Beiges powder is a great idea. I love love the Les Beiges powder because it doesn't take away too much luminosity.

Hi Allison, I have the Chanel vita aqua lumiere and I am wondering how the water fresh tint compares to that. Do I need both? 🥰
Hi Kristen! In my opinion they're very different from each other. The Water Fresh Tint is more fluid, watery and leaves your skin looking more radiant. But it offers less coverage than the Vitalumière Aqua.
The whole collection just came in my city! I was thinking of using it on vacation as i would get a tan and my current one would be too light. So im working on healing up my skin right now. It will look great and really natural in combinatin with flash and the essential palette! Aaaaaaaahhhhhh *_*

My SA sent me a sample along with a cute little brush to apply it. I really like how it looks. I’m just wondering how it would apply over sunscreen. I’m going to a Chanel makeup event on Wednesday, so I’ll see what the makeup artist recommends. Thanks for showing different options on how to wear it.
I think it would wear fine overtop of a sunscreen. I apply a sunscreen everyday (off camera) and I haven't encountered any problems. 😃

Have you ever layered it with Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation and if you are shade 40 would you recommend Medium water fresh or Medium Plus?
Hi John! I'm shade 30 and wear Medium. I think 40 could also wear Medium since the pigments blend so well and seamlessly into the skin. I think pairing it with the Vitalumiere Aqua would be really nice, in fact I think you could use the Water Fresh Tint as a base for most foundations.

What is the philosophy behind the “Les Beiges” collection line? The more LB products I try, the more I love it!
Hmm that's a great question! I think it's about enhancing your natural beauty or using makeup in a very natural way. Especially since the new collections always come out in the summer, so I think it's often about a no makeup, makeup look.
I wear it as a primer with a spf foundation on top.

Hi there! We don’t have a Chanel counter in the city that I live in to test shades. I’ve got an Indian tone skin (think Frieda Pinto 😃). What shade in the water fresh tint would work for me?

I wear the shade Medium. I looked up photos of Freida Pinto and it's hard to tell because in some photos she looks lighter and in some she looks darker. I would go with either the Medium Plus or Light Deep shade. Maybe see if you can find swatches online of either shade to see if it'll help you.
I wear Mac NC 42 concealer. And I’ve been using the Chanel Healthy Glow powder in No. 20. Does that help?

I think the color of the Water Fresh I got is too dark, and really, even though I don’t have anything to cover, I like a little more coverage. By itself, I don’t really love it. It just looks like I applied a nice serum. So, I’ve been mixing it with different liquid foundations with some success. Going to go with your idea and try it as a primer tomorrow. But really, I don’t think I’ll buy it again. For much less there are plenty of great primers out there. My biggest issue is the damn sunscreen. Finding a sunscreen that looks nice under foundation is a major struggle.
It’s really is! I really enjoy Shiseido sunscreen underneath makeup.

I love it but it really does dilute sunscreen & make it ineffective because it’s 75% water so it’s a problem. I will try sunscreen on top again - tried it once and I think it worked but it’s too bad that this is an issue.
