Authors shares little known history of Jesuit ties to slavery

according to a new book by New York Times writer, author and NYU professor Rachel Swarns, there is more to add to the history of how Jesuit profits from the sale of enslaved people fueled the growth of the American Catholic Church. Swarns book is called “The 2-7-2, The Families who were Enslaved and Sold to build the American Catholic Church”.
