- Don't cross this unlucky soul-hangry rabbit.
Art and some of his closest friends help track down his long-lost family lineage. When they find and explore his Great-Grandpa Oswald's abandoned home, they encounter a magical TV that teleports them to a place lost in time, shrouded by dark Hollywood Magic. The group finds that they are not alone when they discover Oswald's come-to-life cartoon Rabbit, a dark entity that decides their souls are it's for the taking. Art and his friends must work together to escape their magical prison before the Rabbit gets to them first.
There'll be no honey, but there will be blood.

Good news: People remembered that Oswald the rabbit is public domain.
Bad news: People remembered that Oswald the rabbit is public domain.
Uh, Since when?
I don't remember him being in the Public Domain. He was made by Disney and Ub Iwerks, then he was taken by some random douche-pickle that I don't know, then he also went to Universal, and then he was back at Disney in 2006, but I don't recall anything about Oswald being in the Public Domain, only original Fairy tales and original stories like Winnie the Pooh.
The only one of the characters I know of that are Public Domain, are Steamboat Willie, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and basically any fairy tale character that Disney adapted over the years. Nothing about Oswald, that "I" know of, is showing that he is Public Domain...
@@jamesloveland7315like a year ago
Trolley Troubles, Oswald's first short, entered the public domain last year.
@@jamesloveland7315 There is a video of Jake Neutron eplaning it
@@jamesloveland7315 Oswald was created in 1927 so he has been in the Public Domain since last year.
The fact that Oswald will be animated is wonderful. Gone are the days of “just put a rubber mask on him. Nobody will know.”
I’ve loved Oswald for years. Glad to see that the public domain will get him the spotlight he’s needed.
And the best part, he's animated traditionally instead of CGI. That really makes this movie stand out amongst not just horror films, but other animated films right now.

I remember watching some oswald cartoons.
I actually dont mind this, animating oswald in 2D is the perfect way to go about this
What Happened To Mickey’s Brother? 1:23 Oswald: Give Me Your Souls! Creature Screme Egg and Sonic the Werehog: No!
I have feeling that Felix the Cat will be the next cartoon character to get a horror movie like Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit are getting.
felix is in that "universal has a lot of control over someone that should be beyond public domain" status, rest well
@@a.k.aorangepenguin5032 Are you sure? It's only trademarks. Because copyright and trademarks are different, not the same.
Felix has been public domain for years, surprised no one made anything about him yet.
Don't give them any ideas!
They should make him curtain cat
An animated rabbit would beat a rubber masked bear any day.
At least somebody remembered that Oswald is also public domain.
I wish they didn't.
@@IsaiahEichler-pk1gd Well yeah, is a pity he is the next victim in this trend of turning Public Domain characters into horror. Though Ironically, this guys seems to be doing far more for Oswald that Disney ever did after getting him back (at the very least, this doesn't look like is going to be like every other cheap slasher with PD charcters)
@@EMTeves If im honest, it suits him, since Oswald has an terrefying on the concept arts of Epic Mickey.
And more if we know that other concepts of Epic Mickey look like they came straight up of an Disney horror-game.
@@user-gs7ku5gs4b that's because he was originaly meant to be the final Boss from Epic Mickey and the main villain.
And yes, it could Work, but with the track record of this horror movies based on children's Public Domain IPs. I'm not holding my breath all that much.
Oswald the lucky rabbit:"great,My evil doppleganger gets a movie treatment but not me 😒"
This is EXACTLY what i was talking about!
We're finally getting peak fiction
Gotta love the references to Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse lol
I mean it is pretty hard to speak of oswald and not bring up mickey in some way lmao
@@flamemix2320 they are brothers after all
You found the winnie the pooh: blood and honey reference😨😨😨
Atleast it captures the Spirit of the Silent Cartoon.
Not a fan of horror these days, but I definitely know a lot of other people who would find that interesting and would watch that in the movies or on Netflix
1:10 Oswald. Chill. The movie's not ready yet. Patience is a virtue.
Oh! So you want to make fun of Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey huh? 1:40
Wow! Live Action/Animated film... but HORROR!
Let's hope it won't turn out like evil toons.
Yes. Excited because its creative for once and has an interesting premise. Its also a live-action/cgi hybrid film with a *Who Framed Roger Rabbit* & *Nightmare On Elm Street* touch.
@@shacharlem4424 they described Evil Toons as Roger Rabbit meets The Evil Dead
Love this. Oswald in a completely different role is gonna be great!
That Oswald design looks cute, the definition of "never judge a book by its cover".🖤
This film is gonna be a twisted "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" from the looks of it.
OH MY GOD. ITS ACTUALLY GOOD
pretty good
Okay... Someones pulling our legs. Come on, this... This has to be one of those fake trailers you find, like The Shrek 5 Trailers... Or is it... Oh my... It is real... And it's an actual Toon. Not an experiment gone wrong, or Bloody Valentine wearing a gas mask... This has potential... An... Original Horror Movie Concept that could be good? In that case, Give us a theatre date, we'll be down to the theatres opening day. Very exciting time for creators. :D As they say: "We making it out the Wasteland with this one, folks."
I’m so excited for everyone to see this tomorrow!!! 🐇🐇🐇 #oswaldsrabbit #oswalddowntherabbithole #oswaldtheluckyrabbit
who is art sounds like a cartoon character name
@@kristinaespe385Art is the main character of the film. He’s looking for his great grandfather the one who created the cartoon.
and if art gets suck into the tv will he look different
This movie looks amazing man I will for sure watch this when it comes out next year
@@kristinaespe385 For the most part, Art and his friends will remain in their human form. However, there will be times when they... get turned into cartoons due to some unforeseen circumstances.
1:12 Stage 1: Oswald the Lucky Rabbit having a wonderful time.
1:22 Stage 2: Public Domain is coming for Oswald.
1:25 Stage 3: The Public Domain/Disney Horror Movie effect starts its corruption.
1:29 Stage 4: .....we're too late......
*OSWALD IS THE NEXT DISNEY HORROR VICTIM*
Looking forward to the movie. Never imagined to see the mouse as a serial killer ❤
This Is one of those "too little, too late" situation that was *before* they eve brought the rights back for Oswald to be In Epic Mickey.
If done right, this can be the Bendy and the Ink Machine movie before the Bendy and the Ink Machine movie! Please make it as scary as the trailer hypes it up to be! The whole comment section is rooting for yall!
That…..actually makes sense
you know if they ever make a movie based off of the Cuphead videogame they should get T.J. Miller to play Cuphead & Thomas Middleditch to play Mugman
You know what? I'm accualy chill with this, knowing oswald will be animated gives me at least some form of peace
The horror movies of course aren't something I usualy look forward because they do like to be unoryginal (Even the mainstream ones are just kinda looping right now)
But honest to god? I'm chill with this, dare I even Say excited in a way
Oswald The Scary Lucky Rabbit: "Th-th-th That's all folks!" Ha Ha Ha Ha!
now this is something original!
I researched on this and they say that they will start production this year in spring time. 🎉
Like the jab at 'Blood & Honey' at the end. It kinda tells me:
"Yeah, we are technically doing the same thing as them. But at least we put some actual thought and effort into ours."
There's a lot of LOVE going into this! We can't wait for you to see!
I hope this be in theaters
A good horror movie holy shit it’s actually uses cartoon characters that high quality
Cool that this project clearly inspired by all the edgy Epic Mickey fanart manifested an Epic Mickey remake.
This deserves so much more views and attention!
There will be honey please .!? lol Let's go Oswald :)
Excited to see where this story goes
I already know it's gonna be a very interesting experience seeing this once it hits theaters next year. 😊
Who Framed Roger Rabbit Styled Horror Movie?
I’m in!
Oswald is giving me Chucky vibes! 😅
Wow, that is sick! I cannot wait to watch it on screen and surround... sc.. sc.. sc..aaarryy 😨👻
ATTENTION EVERYONE: on April 10th they announced that they got Ernie Hudson to be the star of the film
Cool idea incorporating actual animation to this, but this low budget is gonna hold it back greatly. It doesn’t feel authentic when he is animated like a cheap flash animation. Proper 2D animation integration in the vain of Roger Rabbit would add a really unique twist to the horror genre. With the way he moves in this trailer, I don’t feel any sense of weight to him.
Appreciate the feedback, but it won’t be a low budget film. This Announcement Trailer, cost more than any of the public domain horror movies out. We have Mana Animation Studio (Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Cowboy Bebop, Marvel) in charge of the animation, and our VFX supervisor handled VFX for (Spider-Man No Way Home, Tomorrow War, and Oblivion.) While we can’t say what the actual budget will be, trust and believe it won’t be like any of the existing properties that have tainted the film scape. Stay Tuned… 🕳️🐇
Wish you all the best of luck with this film. Speaking of which, have you guys decided if this movie will be released to theaters or sent straight to DVD/streaming?
Thank you, it will be theatrical.@@Trainboy452
@@LiltonStewart3 If im honest, it looks great, and love the references (Heck even Mickey could have an easter egg or have the chance to mock Mickey's Mouse Trap and Infestation: Origins, or even better (Eventhought I found it impossible XD) be an full ally to Art and Co.).
It's also creative using the Live action/animated scheme from Who framed Roger rabbit? and The Chip and Dale Movie, also, an recommendation is to ignore all of that hate comments that involucrate hating on your project just for using the public-domain turning horror esque. make your wishes come true, and i wish you luck like that one rabbit has :)
I think this is going to be live action. Just heard Ernie Hudson is going to be in it!🔥
IM SO HYPED!!! I seriously have been waiting for ANYTHING Oswald related since i discovered him in Epic Mickey. IM WAY TOO EXCITEEDD

With epic mickey rebrushed coming out soon, you think they might be hinting at something?
Wow, unlike every other one of these public domain cash-in horror films, this one DOESN'T look like complete crap. 😂 As a matter of fact, dare I say it looks promising?
The mouse is in the house!
Let's go!!! 🔪🐭
Oswald is a rabbit.
ITS THE RATS IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always knew Mickey was a psycho! Can’t wait for this and way to go Web3!!!!
This isn't Mickey 💀
☹️
At least he's animated...
pretty sure you aren't using the public domain designs, iirc oswald only gained gloves 1930/1931 and universal owned him at that time, and oswald rabbit is a woody woodpecker character and that probably means all of the universal cartoons are copyrighted, and here you gave him gloves, you also aren't using the silent (ACTUALLY) public domain version, you're using the 2023 disney+ version with added music, and if my universal thing is correct you also can't use the re-released version of trolley troubles. if i made any mistakes in this comment please let me know i'm not good with legal stuff
This is going to be awesome
Better than rubber masks horror
We got a better definition of horror! And jeez, is that gonna be scary.
Okay, this actually looks pretty decent at best.
1:46 nice 🤣
Looking devilishly awesome 👹
Looks great and I love the references
Can’t wait to see this!
"Oswald: Down the Rabbit Hole" Is
From Columbia Pictures Not From Paramount Pictures Or Universal Pictures Or Warner Bros
Actually, it's November 11th Pictures
No It's Not
1:29 Darkness Roaring
Cannot wait to see the whole film!
You got a problem the trolley troubles sound version since it was made after Disney regained copyright of the character originally it was silent so the sound version is still copyrighted
WOW. That's will be interesting!
I didn't know until now that Oswald had entered the public domain
So looking forward to this!
This production looks promising! 🐰
You know, i actually can see this one working.
Looks amazing ! Cant wait for this
Oh disney you deserve all of this. Theyll never stop with the movies since its pub domain now. HAHAHHA
Mickey Mouse has taken over the spotlight from Oswald for the past century, so if you ask me, a horror movie based around him is a longtime coming.
I'm confused. Isn't the audio they used for Trolley Troubles still copyrighted?
Nope, it’s in public domain.
Yeah, no wonder why people forget about Oswald
@@LiltonStewart3 oh really? Thought this specific soundtrack was composed like a couple months after Disney regained the rights to Oswald in 2006 (for the Disney Treasures set). How do you know that the audio is PD?
The neon purple as the letters faded away really ruined the vide and atmosphere and truly made it look like a random free effect from PowerPoint unaltered. Would have fit much better if it was just black and white. But, it is an interesting premise. Anything has to be better than that awful Pooh movie
When is it releasing and where?
Next year, in theaters! 🕳️🐇
Love the animation
1:24 Screme Egg: Stay Away From Us, Oswald!
whoa that is sick!!! can't wait
WHAT!?……is this for real for real!?….like in actual real movie!?
Yup!
@@OswaldsRabbit oh god
Kinda digging the Oswald design, will definitely go and watch this
It's just me or in the 1:11 it's the Poppy Playtime sound effect? (Or maybe another indie horror game that's popular but the sound was very very familiar)
Actually by the time this movie comes out oswald in color will be in public domain
You mean like he’s only public domain in black-and-white right now?
@@kingjamesc1156 yeah
They should make a silent horror film with oswald. Since thats where he came from.😂
actual animation for this ?? okay im listening
Tbh this actually seems interesting and has some potential,is this inspired by the epic Mickey concept art that was leaked?
I can’t wait
I'm so freaking ready for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's freaking go!!!!!
LET'S FREAKING GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Dawg imagine the crazy sh- these people can do with steamboat Willie and Oswald in the movie
God this will be interesting
What would be even funnier/darker would be an animated feature, "Lee Harvey Oswald the Rabbit, Presidential Assassin." (Just wonder what species they'd make JFK)
Well epic Mickey was known for being pretty dark and Oswald was in it
Half animated half live action I really hope it will be good
2023: Well Oswald may be Public Domain, but at least we don't get a horror movie
2024: OH COME ON! First Mickey Mouse, now Oswald the Lucky Rabbit? We're all doomed
Did he become Bendy's colleague?
Gosh I hope not, Bendy is the only rubber hose horror toon we need.
