- Watch live from a court in Santa Fe as actor Alec Baldwin faces trial on charges of involuntary manslaughter over his part in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
The actor has entered a not guilty plea to the charge, but could face up to 18 months in prison and financial penalties if found guilty.

Why is the actor on trial he never loaded the gun
This may be a dumb question, but can somebody explain to me why there were any live rounds on the set? How do they serve any purpose whatsoever?
Oh come ON! Ok, Baldwin may have been messing about with a gun on the set (tell me no actor has ever done that before!) but how could he have possibly known that the gun contained a live round? What, he knew but decided to fire it anyway? LOL, no way! He will inevitably be found not guilty, the trial will cost a fortune and the only benificiaries will be the lawyers - as usual.
Bet Alec is screaming in his head "READS Kari the document READS....not SAYS!!" 😉😂

Baldwins lawyers strategy is pathetic. The jury are not that dumb. The cop responds to a shooting whatever the despatch has said (accidental ) means NOTHING, the cop responds to the shooting, Nothing has been established yet. They must think the jury are idiots. If that is their strategy the state wins all the way. Baldwins arrogance actions to cross on the stand is also PATHETIC are the jury that dumb. Man this Baldwin character comes over as a Bully a narcissist allof that. Come on he is an Actor but his body language says it all. He can't hide it.
Baldwin just comes across as a very unpleasant individual.
Baldwins biggest disadvantage is his own lawyer who spent far more time blaming others than expressing his clients regret at the circumstances. I'll be surprised if there's a conviction,but if he takes the stand that may change in a heartbeat.
