Dearest Iqra, Hira, Fatima, Rabia, Zainab - mama and papa. I want to start off by saying a big “thank you”, I never used to watch vlogs and neither did my family but the first time I came across Fatima’s vlog I made sure everyone in my house watches it and gets in a light-happy mood. We were going through an extremely tough phase in our lives, we had just lost my grandfather (my Nanaji) who passed away while he was visiting Nankana sahib in Pakistan. He was born and raised in Punjab,India in a sikh family but had immense love and respect for Pakistan. He had visited Pakistan more than 12 times and this year he was visiting as well on the occasion of vaisakhi, little did we know that he will decide to stay there forever and breathe his last breaths there in your land, in lehnda Punjab, in Pakistan! So when I found Fatima, it felt like a sign from god. Her Punjabi, her jokes, her take on life and the Pakistan we so want to visit. Then through her we there on found Sistrology and it felt like we found our family in Pakistan. Iqra’s maturity and warmth, Hira’s kindness, zainab’s Bachpana, your papa’s love for his family, We fell in love with each one of you as our own family member, I started watching everyone’s vlogs daily, started saying that these are my sisters in Pakistan❤️ when my mama saw a shift in my mood, she started watching your vlogs too and as much as she was in grief, she found a sense of peace in your vlogs. These 12-13 minute vlogs gave her the much needed break she needed from being upset, it gave her joy and it gave her a big smile. We then hooked my sister to your vlogs and in short, all of us found our smiles back through YOU ALL, through SISTROLOGY. We had forgotten how to smile after losing my nanu while he was so far away but you guys gave that back to us, we felt like we found another family in yours. Before we used to isolate ourselves in our rooms separately but now we sit together Every night and cherish your vlogs and I can’t thank you enough for it! My mom pushed me to write my feelings out to you so atleast you all know that you’re doing great, you’ve helped a family get out of depression and I don’t think there’s anything bigger than that. We live in Canada, and we plan to visit Pakistan soon and we would absolutely love to meet you guys, especially my mama! And I’m sure you all probably get a lot of fan messages but I’m writing this message from my heart thinking myself as your sister, I’ll be just a message away if you guys ever need anything from Canada. Hopefully when we visit Pakistan ( who I now like to call my naanke ) as I like to believe that my nanu’s soul lives there now, we get to thank you all in person for the smiles you brought in our lives! Can’t wait for your wedding Iqra, and sending all our blessings for you and Areeb bhai, he’s indeed a gem!
