Yamaha YZ125 Smartcarb SC2 w/MagVolt TPS and Boyesen RAD Valve. Get your YZ125 Powerband Back!

Make your YZ125 sing from bottom to top with this combination of mods! Boyesen RAD Valve, Smartcarb SC2 with the MagVolt TPS, VHM head with SX dome, and FMF exhaust.
In this vid we look at the installation of the RAD Valve, along with the Smartcarb to see if we can improve on the air boot clearance. Making sure to fit the Smartcarb perfectly, including how you align the carburetor claps is critical. As a bonus, the 2nd generation (Gen 2) Rad Valve provides a slightly slimmer profile that helps as well.
This is a really great setup that provides perfect jetting, toolless adjustments, broader and more powerful powerband, and it smooths out power delivery very nicely.

I replaced my Boyesen with the v4 force on my 99 cr125 and noticed that i didn't have the bottom end that i had but gained on the mid to top end. I really liked having the bottom end for trail riding.
