    Malcolm and others were willing to give up their lives for us yet many Blacks today are not even willing to give up the use of the n-word in honor of them.

    • @shawniem

      Not all Blacks uses that despicable word! The younger generations had this asinine notion that using it as a term of endearment takes the venom out of the word, I say there is nothing that can take the degradation, malfeasance associated with the N word, it should be obliterated from the English Lexicon! So please, do not say Blacks, say some Blacks use that word…

    Excellent broadcast once again, I have heard Malcolm X quotes all my life, he's the family favorite, not to say King wasn't thought fondly of, but when King said, that little W children and Black children walk hand and hand, my family didn't see it that way. We can't nice our way out of this bondage, they just thought Malcolm X would be a stronger leader, he knew exactly what he was up against and didn't flinch. King after dealing with them folks, realize what he was up against and it was close to the end of his life, but never the less, we were bless to have them both, B1

    One of my Biggest take-away lessons from Malcolm X is for Black folks to "Stay On Code" and guarding our culture and politics Closely ! Being mindful of whom we let into our inner circles, and sharing Economies and Knowledge. We need to Close Ranks and do some "Cancelling" . It is this violation of that Code / those practices that allowed that Religious Ethnic Group to Co-Opt our messaging (via the NAACP) and politics in the last century. In the 21st century, it's a new group as represented by Kamala Harris, Vivek Ramaswamy and Nimarata Randhawa that's posed to do the same Gatekeeping and Sabotage. If we are not careful, these folks are going to be the new Mouthpieces through whom we Have to air and bring forth our concerns and the New Police that will be Regulating our Speech and Bodies. We will lose our Primacy as Group with specific History and Experience in America.

    • @j.w.2391
      @j.w.2391 Před 22 dny +4

      Even in Canada, the two Ethnic / Racialized Groups mentioned have been most problematic to Black politics, that keep us marginalized and stagnated. The Dominant Group Prefers to hear and "negotiate" with them and have strategically elevated them as the "Proxies" and the Intermediates through which we MUST communicate to be heard or get policy done. That is Bull...We dont need no Proxies or Middle men, as we were Present or Citizens in these countries First and performed all the Civil - Human Rights Anti Racist work that made it Possible for these other groups to immigrate and assimilate into the North American system.

    Bandung Conference- The first large-scale Asian-African or Afro-Asian Conference (Indonesian: Konferensi Asia-Afrika), also known as the Bandung Conference, was a meeting of Asian and African states, most of which were newly independent, which took place on 18-24 April 1955 in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The twenty-nine countries that participated represented a total population of 1.5 billion people, 54% of the world's population. The conference was organized by Indonesia, Burma (Myanmar), India, Ceylon (Sri Lanka), and Pakistan and was coordinated by Ruslan Abdulgani, secretary general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The conference's stated aims were to promote Afro-Asian economic and cultural cooperation and to oppose colonialism or neocolonialism by any nation.

    Rest in peace to Malcolm x and happy heavenly birthday. At 2:41:31 when the brotha asked about two groups celebrating Malcolm X's birthday. I believe he asked that question intentionally because if you study the black Muslim Movement, you will learn that the NOI has Moorish origins as well as Pan-africanism. Malcolm's father Earl Little who was a Baptist preacher from Georgia was heavily involved in the Garvey Movement. His mother Louise Little was also involved in the Garvey movement. Since Malcolm embraced the teachings of Garvey that would explain why you will see black people carrying RBG flag. To answer the Palestine question is Malcolm was traveling and giving lectures around Britain, Caribbean, and he went to Palestine. He gave a speech and this was when they were calling Malcolm an Anti-Semite and other names. Malcolm was against new age colonialism and genocide. This was also during the time when Malcolm got involved in creating The United Nations. So that's why you see Palestinians carrying their flag in honor of Malcolm X's birthday.
