I started what I call a "Reference" insert several years ago when I decided I didn't want to repeat constant lists into every next new volune of my bullet journal. It's been a great thing in my TN partnered with my regular bullet journalling.
Excellent advice. Thank you so much for watching. I have been thinking about mixing things up, again as planner people often do. Whatever I do I think a reference insert or binder would be helpful.
Tehe! Same here. It's great. I kind of wish it came in a pretty barrel so some days I could feel the fancy pen vibe. But when I misplace them...and I do 🤪 I just grab another from my pen container. 💕
Bic Cristal lover here. i love bold pens so 1.6mm is my go to but i have bought some micron pens and at first didn't like them because it was sooo fine lol but when writing in tiny spaces its perfect. i have big handwriting and always have so i guess that why i absolutely love a bold pen

I used a ball point pen in my Hobo and a year or so later it bled through the other side. I’m glad I used a ball point on the first page. It was a paper mate ballpoint. The pen that was included didn’t bleed through the next page. The Uni Jetstream is the pen that Hobonichi includes. I love how you set two cameras up. We see your face and what your showing up. I LOVE IT! 🖖

I just found your channel today. I'm a functional planner as well. I like using stickers, but I find I do better just writing. I love journaling too! I need to start an art journal for drawing and maybe stickers. I would love to see a flip through of your art journal! I'm looking forward to when you share your book. I will add showing my art journaling books to my video list. I so encourage you to create. I can get stuck in perfectionist thinking and not create. The art journaling books are intended for me to give myself permission to just let go and pour myself into the pages. Sometimes it's pretty, sometimes not.
Just stumbled across your video and had to sub. You're so chill and charismatic! It's actually really refreshing to see someone's face, helps connect to the content a bit better in some cases. It's also nice to see another TN user who's set up is practical. I like my B6 and A5 to remain pretty low-frill (b/c otherwise, I absolutely will spend all of Sunday decorating it lol) and I'm always looking for inspiration in the community to continue to inspire me. do you realize the crazy amount of courage it takes to put yourself in front of a camera and hit record? you have every right to be nervous. i hope you’ll hit that record button again and show me your tools for making those pretty pictures. teach me about how you art journaling. break it down into steps and multiple videos if that helps. start with a blank page and explain how your brain decides to fill the page. 😊
Omgoodness, thank you. Seriously, I might cry. Starting a CZcams channel has been something I wanted to do probably as long as 15 years ago. The anxiety always got in the way and so did the excuses. "if only my weight were ideal- (I yo yo), if only I were more talented, organized, less anxious, more focused (I have ADHD)" the list went on and on. Oh, also my first travelers insert is/was being used similarly to your art journal except I print out little photos I've taken.

Sadly I'm not 100% sure on the leather, I've had it a long time. It's definitely like the old Darcy leather, really firm and marks up easily. She's changed the name I think over the years. I think it might be the Austen now.
