in the second question, the inner loop will be an infinite one as the value of j doesn't get updated and as a result the printf statement is never executed.

Mam you are good in teaching but why not you add practical part of a certain task or erore like you write all the codes on board . Thats good but as a learner i need to see it practicaly. In that scene the student or guy who is watching will understand that part much better

Because the value of b is already 3 after the completion of the inner while loop and like for loop here for a=2 , b is not initialising its value from 0 again ! It is 3 , so the loop can not run again ... That is why only 3 star will be printed for a = 1 only and for a = 2 & 3 there will be nothing to print as the loop for b can not run again ! I hope you get it

because in while loop j was initialized by 1 only one time and not again and again, but in nested for loop the inner for loop was initialized by 1 again and again that is why it was entering in inner foor loop again and again but the situation is diff. in nested
