Well I know it's been a year and all but...
I had the longest hair in my whole batch before my haircut... And currently it's the shortest...
While growing up my parents always kept my hair short, as you know "they'll be better that way when you grow up!" So I went all crazy and had super lond hair as early as I could... Before I totally cut my hair I didn't tell any one of my friends... But I suddenly had this urge to cut it off...and so I did. It's a BIG releif... My hair's all straight and silky so everyone loved to play with it that COMPLETELY ended after I cut it... I got a lot of compliments, well after all of 'em had thoroughly voiced their displeasure at no longer being able to play with it... It boosted my confidence really good... And the best part is that it better fits my personality... Plus your head is a light lighter... Believe it or not, it reduces headaches... PLUS you look badass and cute all at the same time!
So all in all I'd say go for it!🖤

My hair was waist length, thick, heavy and shiny, and somehow it became such a part of my identity that I just had to get rid of it. And it was such a great decision! And my style changed so much in a good direction. Next step is to get an undercurt exactly for the reasons you named and I can't wait.
I just cut my hair really short, here’s some of my pro’s:
Shorter/more comfortable showers
Doesn’t get in food/mouth while eating
Don’t have to put it back while cooking
Doesn’t get in your face during exercise
Can’t feel my neck sweating
Less itchy
No tangles
I brought your pictures to my hairstylist when I cut it short last month, so thanks! When my hair was long I would never do anything with it other than throw it in a messy bun. I love playing with makeup but I've never been good with styling hair so my default is to do the least. I literally cut my hair short to force myself to style it because I was tired of wearing it up all the time. I don't mind styling it now because it's so quick to blow dry and mostly goes in place on its own. Also I'm starting to experiment with braiding the front and adding clips, etc. I find that I'm wearing more tops that have an interesting back design like a cut out or lace since my hair won't cover it up like long hair would. I definitely feel more confident but I think some of that is just being in my 30s now and I just don't care what everyone thinks anymore! Thanks for the inspiration!

I plan to cut my hair short for same reason. I only wear bun most of the time and hide behind my hair. And also I wear bun so much that I started loosing hair on sides which I wish it could recover, but I doubt so. Anyway, I want to wear my hair down more so this is helpful to hear

I cut my hair short from super long after watching your videos! I absolutely LOVE it now! Doesn't go greasy, it doesn't lay flat anymore, it's soooo easy to style and it's just soo much more complimentary to my style now!

Man don't think about what the boys. You know what, when you cut your hair really short it reveals the true personality of the boys like they don't love you for who you are and just your looks. If they really like you, you're outer appearance shouldn't be a problem. You can really find true love when you have short hair. One of the benifits. Be a BADASS, be WHO YOU ARE!

Im debating going from almost hip length to a long bob. I never hear my hair up but my main concern is a long bob being in my face all the time more so than my long hair. Do you notice the bob cut being in your face more so now then when your hair was long & down?
I hid behind my hair, too. My whole life. Like I've said before, my brother died and one of the first things I went and did was have all my hair chopped off. Idk why, they say it was a sign of grief. I will never have long hair, again. I get compliments all the time on my hair.

Your comments are spot on! I totally changed my style when I cut my hair. I feel way more classy and chic and edgy and mature (in a good way) with my short hair. I’m in my mid 20s, when I had long hair, I felt like a teenager. With short hair, I feel like a confident young woman! I also noticed I do get way more compliments about my hair now. I got my first pixie in 7th grade. My hair was also down to my booty. I remember walking out of the salon, and my mom didn't recognize me. I kinda didn't tell her I was gonna chop it off. I haven't grown it out past my shoulders since. My style and attitude changed, as well! So glad you did this video!

I used to have my hair really long too. It's been short for about 4 years now and I was just starting to consider wearing wigs/extensions because I miss my long hair sooo much!! My hair was down to my butt before I got it cut! I had my hair dyed at Ulta (never again) and the girl messed it up and I had such bad chemical burn that I had no choice but to get my hair cut so I ended up with a style similar to yours. I was upset at first but as soon as it was gone I felt fantastic! Definite confidence boost and my style changed so much! I haven’t had short hair in 10+ years so I was looking up some cute hairstyles and that’s how I found your channel!
49, had waist long very dark gorgeous hair. I was known for my hair. It got to be too much plus gray was coming in a lot. Chopped it and bleached it out so the gray can come in. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Chloe....yes, it's true, when you go from long to short hair, your style does change! It did for me, so I can relate. I think it's because your face and features are on full display and you have to be confident to rock a short do! Confident in that, I'm not going to wear makeup today and if you say I look like a boy because I have short hair, SO WHAT! I like my hair and how I feel and that's that! I recently chopped my hair.... it is super thick so undercut might be necessary to take out bulk....I too have wavy wild hair so it needs attention.... my favorite style is wavy textured.... that's an easy style because I add product and air dry...I was so scared to go short but now i'm loving it and don't see myself going back to long.....I think you're beautiful and inspiring.... just recently I decided to go without makeup except brows and mascara after watching one of ur many videos 💕💕

For years I’ve wanted to cut my hair shorter. I am 5’ 10” tall and was concerned that short hair might not translate well. I finally decided to go for it. Like my daughter said, “get it out of your system”. Lol. My hair was just to my shoulder and I got it got to chin length. It’s actually the same style as yours minus the undercuts since I have thin hair. (And I discovered you AFTER I got it cut!).
I’ll admit I was literally having panic attacks after getting it cut. I thought I was going to cry.
But then when people saw it, I got more compliments then I ever got in my life! Talk about a confidence builder! My hair has never looked thicker and I absolutely love it now! I won’t go back.
And yes my style did change. I find I like my hair the most with a certain type of neckline.

I love your hair! I’m a hairstylist and have an undercut bob. Going to go shorter again! My hair is fine but have a good amount! I’m a mature age haha yet all the longer hair stylists in my salon never get compliments on their hair. 75% of the women walking in compliment my hair and ask for my style or say they wish they could go short! Let me say everyone looks better with shorter, maybe not extremely short, but shorter than longer! Especially after 30!!!! You’re adorable!

A bob with bangs can really bring the tiger out of a lady. I have seen so many clients go short and develop a confidence they never had.
There is a trend in our area where the wife or girlfriend gets a short bob, and the husband or boyfriend gets a short buzzcut. Just this morning, I gave a lovely 28-year old redhead a transformation from long to chin-length bob and with blonde highlights, and then her bf got in the chair and had his 6-inch long hair buzzed to a number 1 blade on top faded down to a 00000 on the sides and back.
They secretly became engaged on Sunday, and this was how they chose to start their life as a couple. They both looked great.
I love women that have the courage to cut their hair short, but I really love it when women demand their men go super short. As an alpha female, it subconsciously tells the males that they must obey if they want to play.

Chloe, I did not have a major haircut until I was in college and it was certainly liberating...over the past 25 years, I've let it grow out to various lengths and then I chop it all off again. I always say to myself, "don't ever let your hair grow out again!" i freaking love having short hair. i went to my hair stylist with no intention of cutting it any shorter and then just decided to do it. i bleach my hair most of the time when i go to the hair stylist and the ends of my hair (which were longgg) were super damaged. i was scared to cut it but it’s honestly the best and its mostly mental. i feel so much more confident and i’ve honestly been happier because i’m doing thins s for me and not what other people want me to do. people told me my long hair was so pretty and that they missed it, and yeah, it gets annoying, but i don’t care anymore because i did it for me. if you want to cut it, don’t be apprehensive. it was honestly one of the best decisions i’ve made!
I cut all of mine off almost exactly a year ago! Shoulder to 🧚🏼♀️!! It was a shock, but like you said I got a ton of compliments!! Now it’s below my ear and I may or may not let it get too much longer! Believe it or not your videos have given me options... like I’m using my diffuser to make natural curls and I feel like you that it feels longer when its curled! Anyway... rock on girl! I have my hair just like this! I also have clip in extensions for those days I miss long hair. Best of both worlds!!! I don't know that I will ever grow mine out again!!!
For the visible breakout con, pimple patches are magical. They can eliminate certain blemishes in 24 hours. Also, if you shop around you might be able to fibd ones that look almost invisible when worn (but admittedly this might be harder for poc).

I recently purchased a high-end flat Iron because my dream is to style my hair like yours. I've been practicing but it's not nearly as good as yours. if you don't get undercuts you can still wear it up. I have a tutorial for that. I wand curled my hair for my sisters wedding and tucked it behind my ear but I have 2 hair tutorials with braids that would be super cute for weddings. they are on my channel too

I went to black dyed hair to platinum and was looking for a shortish haircut to cut the damage away and found a pic of you with this awesome cut. My hair wasn’t really long. Not even to my shoulders. I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for YEARS but I LOVE LOVE this cut. And my stylist says my hair texture must be pretty close to your cuz it’s perfect for this cut. Chloe, I just turned 35 and I’m 5’2 on a good day lol. Anyway my hair is long like past the middle of my back and I’m getting ready to cut it next week. I like you have hidden behind my long hair for years. I’m a mom of three 12, 4 and 1 year old. I don’t style my hair at all it goes straight up in a ponytail everyday. I’ve decided that I LOVE your cut that I’m going bold and chopping my hair off , one so I stop damagingly hair by constantly being in a ponytail, two so my kids will stop pulling on it lol but most so I can learn to style my hair. I’ve been watching you videos and I think your a beautiful person with or without makeup. At the end of the day makeup doesn’t make us who we are:) you seem like a really genuine,loving person.

Awesome...I have had super long and short....now I want to have it long...so I braid it and put it up....it looks short and is cool, but I can take it down when wanted. Short hair shows off your bone structure and your collar bone and shoulders.

My hair was super long like yours and I swore I epuld never cut it. Then covid hit and rhe stress of everything made my haor fall out. I lost 60% of my hair. Luckily it started growing back but ir was soo thin I had to cut all my hair into a pixie so that it would all grow out together. During the grow out process of the pixie I ended up woth somthing very similar to what u have in this video. And I love it. 2 years later I still have the same cut and will probably never grow out my hair. I just love it short. So somthing good came out of a very scary experience

Yes, I do get alot of compliments about my short hair. As a kid my mom wanted it short but when I could decide my hair length, I grew it out. Then last year I couldn't do anything curl wise with my long hair, so I decided to cut it shoulder length. Now it really short.
I just cut off 7 inches and I love it! Every time I do a big chop I feel sexy and cool and sassy! Long hair just isn’t for me. It’s super curly and heavy and I can’t do anything. I can’t wait to go shorter next time!

I absolutely love it, i had my hair down to my back, but it was completely dead because of all the dying and bleaching, i dyed my hair 21 times this year.. :-/

The worst thing of having a short hair is the way people think they can give their opinions. "Why dont you let your hair grow up? Did you cut it again?" (I usually do it by myself).

i love short hair too i always cut my around summer or if not on winter and i love everything about short hair
I have the opposite experience of changing styles... with short hair I'm apt to wear the turtle necks, high collar, & hoodies that I avoided with super long hair. The long hair competed with extra clothing layers, too bulky all around neck. I like both lengths for diff reasons :)
