- For the first time since 2009 I have all of my kids up at the tent. Grouse hunting, getting the wood bin filled up for winter, deer stands and good ole Tent cooking. It was a great weekend to be a Dad. Hopefully the editing is okay, I had 3 cameras of footage to try to edit into one video.
You've did a great job teaching Sara hunting fishing and cleaning her game. Nice family
I consider you to be the luckiest man on earth. In Gods Country with your children, hunting, fishing and just enjoying the outdoors. Nothing like it. Happy Hunting

You and your kids will cherish these memories. My dad used to strut like a peacock when my sister or I was with him. We were all 3 rarely together. He passed away 6 years ago today and we still talk over the fun times which weren't when he spent lots of money on us but when we were just together. Thanks for your video showing your family. It made me smile on a really sad day. Your children are so good looking and healthy, I bet you're one proud poppa😁

Man, this is the kind of environment I want my children growing up in. I'm eighteen years old, and I've seen my fair share of bad in the world. I feel like this sort of thing is a great way to raise children in a way that teaches discipline and respect for life. You've earned yourself a subscriber.

Its surprising what a few days out in the woods can do to bring a little bit of what the world use to be like back to reality. They can still keep in touch with the electronics but a person ends up getting outside and doing a few things. I truly enjoy my time at the tent and its always a blessing when any of the kids come along. Thanks again. Joe

Nothing better than spending time with your kids at camp. That is what I love about deer camp that my son (youngest) is at camp with me and my inlaws. My oldest son never took to hunting. The youngest is now 30 and the oldest is 35. Family time at camp is always special! GREAT VIDEO!!

I know this video is over a year old. Love all you videos. The Tent reminds me of a couple trips my friend and I took to Cass Lake a Long time time ago. The view from the Tent's front door reminds me so much of the cabins we stayed at. Yellow perch, walleye, rock bass, and northern. I wish I could go back. We also saw a lot of grouse on the sides of the back roads.
Joe , family is everything. If you think this was good , just wait until there are grandkids-----puts a whole new light on things.

Ireally enjoy your programs, you are a jack of all trades, which is very prevelant.
On one of your programs you were packaging food for the Freezer, a friend of mine's dad was a butcher, and he showed and told me, when you wrap meat in freezer paper, to wrap it kitty corner, that it gives you less air space in the package to help prevent freezer burn.
I watched you when you were working on your well point or sand point, when you put the teflon tape on the threads you put it on backwards, where you should put teflon tape on the threaded end in the direction you tighten the fitting. You put the tape on L hand, and it should be R hand

LOL No Zach isnt going to be a father. The pregnant girl he drove up to the tent is Joes second daughter, Emily, Zachs sister. Zach has a gf named Samantha whom he will marry. They will then have Rose.

Joe, I found your videos by accident and have been glued to them ever since. I am 75 years old and wish I had a place like the tent to retreat to. My 5 kids wouldn't let me but I miss being in the outdoors, and when I tell my kids even at my age I want a place in the woods where I can just be with nature they frown. The tent has given me hope that it may happen someday. I love the backwoods cabin and your dad is an artist with wood. I wish you the best and look forward to the videos when you replace the tent with your own backwoods cabin. I know you are divorced, but curiosity has me asking about Louisiana. Lived in southwest Louisiana for 5 years before I retired, and was wondering where Melisa fits in the picture and besides Sarah and Zach, is there anymore children I haven't seen yet. Your videos with your grandchild are the best. Also your dad and mom are great people too. Keep the videos coming. If I don't ever realize my dream of a log cabin in the woods, I can live it through you.

Don't let people ruin y'all humble hearts. That's what I love about the Canadians you out class most Americans in being humble and kind. Us hawaiians have a thing called Aloha it's the epitome of most hawaiian movements, truthfully I'm running out of aloha.
