I’ll 2nd that!!! ❤️TTC🔥🌳🍻
i usually hate when i see members of the crowd holding their phones instead of watching, but thank god for this. i didnt even know he had 35 songs. lol.
Todd that’s why I always try to be front row. I hold my phone low at chest level while still watching the artist. I make sure not to bother anyone ;) Glad you’re enjoying it.
@@MusicCityMaven also helps that the front row is about 2 feet away from him. lol
I hope this helps everyone. I know I needed it!

Music City Maven I lost your ❤😞... I didn't mean to, but I had to edit the time and add the lead in story to the beginning of Dreadheaded Stranger so it made more sense... Sucks cuz it provided such a nice sense of accomplishment for what was a long and tedious task... So, I guess what I'm really trying to say is... Can I please have my ❤ back? 😂😂😂... Ty in advance😁

You’re doing gods work
Good lad!
You are the man
Once they give him a shot at the Opry pop country will fade like a fleeting memory. People will remember what it was like riding around with grandad listening to country FM radio when it still had substance. Thank you Mr Childers, a lot of us have been waiting a good long time to hear real country music once again.
But all those backup dancers in cheerleader outfits will be out of work. lol
Two sold out shows at The Ryman and I’m feeling guilty about being able to see him in Detroit next March for $12.
No offense to Mr. Childers (whom I am a huge fan of or I wouldn't be here) but I think Margo Price may have a bit more to do with that.
Matthew Mcdaniel Amen. Sold out everywhere. Now if radio will grow a pair and play him. And I swear (to God)... please (Sturgill or whomever) get out of his way, and don't over-produce his record ever again.
You think his record is overproduced? There's barely any instrumentation on it at all.
Not sure if these people realize how lucky they are to have witnessed this live. I really hope he does a solo tour with just him and his acoustic. You could not ask for a better setlist. This is incredible.
Needed to read that comment.❤He is such a brilliant artist.
2017 HE WAS A DIFFERENT Man then . hes cleaned up pretty good and matured . hes still full of fire , but mayby from a lower proof fuel . not sure just guessin . this is all his early stuff , good chit . i hope he stays with us , we can use em . howl on , Tyler .

Well I don't think those people (THAT ARE NON STOP TALKING) realize that there is a live show going on! So, rude!
I am a 70 yr old gma and I am almost scared of how obsessed I am with Tyler's music. Wow. This is a once in a lifetime thing goin' on here folks!
"Be good boys."
I'm 65 and I'm loving it! Haven't heard True Country like this in years!
I'll try, gma
He is similar to a young John Prime.
@@sartainja Never heard of him, but I'll look him up and give him a listen. Thanks.
71 yr old not a grmpa and I'm lovin this bout as much as I loved Skynyrd!
The crowd hootin and hollerin is icing on the cake.
Love how he says “This ones for the gentleman in the corner” then plays Charleston Girl 😂

Thank you for this list. What incredible songs ❤
God bless you saint!
I’m watching this video recorded by someone’s phone and I can still confirm this is top 5 best live performances I’ve ever seen. This live performance of Rock salt and nails is mind blowing.
i doubt this is someone's cell phone
I do not listen to country music I have never listen to country music but Tyler Childers and a couple of these others have made An old Tiger change her stripes. I can listen to this man's voice for hours. Would be a dark ugly world without you
I like that...thats good....and perfect!
Love hearin my old buddy Tyler from high school following his dream
Bring back this version of Tyler Childers. We need it.
There is only one region in the world where you find guys gifted with this sound.
If this voice doesn’t blow your mind, I don’t know what will
listen to john bell
Sorry, another one. I've been playing and singing and listening to every imaginable kind of music my whole life. I couldn't live without it. This man can pick that guitar, and his songs reach so deep into my soul - places that have never been touched. I'm 66 years old, I've been waiting for this my whole life.
I feel the same, brother.
Yes and on top of it he supports BLM ✊🏿
Tell me what ya think of billy strings!! I love both of these men’s ability to put their soul into their work
Didn’t know how to live til I heard Tyler for the first time.
I’m only a couple years behind you in age. I think this guy is today’s Hank Williams. The sad thing is that even Hank couldn’t get played on Country radio today. Thank goodnesses there are places that still play him and those like him.
I hope this man never stops making music
In the past 6 months this guy has skyrocketed to the top of my 'Need to see live' list
Me too! Definitely on my bucket list . ❤️🤣
@@SQC1726 I

every cover performer
" The one that says BAd Muthafka on it."
These covers are his breaks...
The man , this guy WOW , does he have a big "S" UNDERSHIRT LOL , super man Tyler
And kills it on every one of them.
I put this on to casually listen to as background music while I was rigging fishing tackle for a trip in the morning. 2 hours later, I've gotten nothing accomplished and I have to be up in 4hrs. Good luck getting tickets to his shows, I'm buying them all. You've been put on notice.
I live in Giles county
Love listening to him fishing big cats on a muddy river bank.

182K views, and I swear I’m at least 500 of them. Bravo to the person who held up their phone for the entire set
I try to play and sing his songs, but the songwriting is so powerful, I just get choked up. The musicians that can write songs you can feel like this are few and far between.
Thank you to whoever recorded this gold and thank you Tyler for the music that touches the soul
I do to and a few I can. But if your playing them just like this concert. It's rough to do!
He's fast and accurate!!! This is the only thing I watch of his but it's great!!!
One of the few artists today that can take me anywhere I want to go. Also, the people who disliked this must be deaf, blind, or other things I won’t say.
He kills it like always he sings from the heart
This dude is something special man, in a world where music is just a commercial set to a beat this dude is substance for the soul
Absolutely one of my favorite memories, he was just really on fire that night. Everyone was having a blast. He is my absolute favorite. Any setting he preform's wonderfully. I love the down to earth authentic person he is. Does great solo or with the band. If you knew how lovely he is you'd melt. Very kind thoughtful talented romantic funny clever hard working and always into something. Very awesome rare old soul. Love ya baby keep blowing their socks off. Never let them change you, You change the world.
First to see this awesome essay that was worth reading! I want to go to one of his concerts.
I ❤ your comment❤
He was raised in the hills of Kentucky, of course he's all these things and more! I'm raising my grandson, he's 12 and he's all the right things a country man can be 💙💙💙
Modern day john prine, is about the only one I can think of that is in comparison. Love the wave of music these new fresh throwback musicians are blessing us with. That includes tyler, cody, whiskey Myers, and a few more that are giving Nashville the bird, flying in their own direction.. thank you tyler
Caulter,Colter Wall,
I just got a signed Purgatory album cover from him. My gf waited out by the van in VT and she said he was so humble and just a good conversation.
now there's a guy who finally has something to say
perfectly said
Dang. He may be one of the best story tellers, ever. What a gift to us this guy is. I can't wait to see him in some small venue somewhere.
This recording has the perfect amount of background noise that a producer could never reproduce. And of course Tyler and his guitar.
The most expressive country voice I have ever heard...BADASS!!!!
He has a voice of an angel?,just saying, kinda his own❤
I can't get enough of this kid's music. Tyler Childers can certainly turn a phrase.
Son has it going on!
Kid? He's a grown man.
Banded Clovis ...another original! And Universal Sound one of my favorite songs of any artist, any year. Plenty of good music, new artists you just have to search other than "radio". You tube has changed the music world and a real lifesaver for us do it your selfers
Thank You so much for helping me Heal, Mr. Tyler Childers. I appreciate Your Work.
Man, 35 songs? Wish I was there, what a performance.
He actually played more than that! He probably played on for another hour or so. My arms got tired of holding my phone and I needed some fresh air. I was bummed I had to miss the rest!
There is a place for all music, so let's get real country music back where it belongs! Love this guy, so talented
"Soft on the eyes and a hymn on the hearing...:" Tyler is very good.
Rock, salt, and nails. My favorite by Tyler
This guys music helped me to finally have something in common with someone at work i had been fighting with. Thanks. He is a good guy.
it's cool to see a real life scenario like this, that music proves once again to break barriers! Cheers!
This mans music is really so good it’s bringing people together
Can't you see her up there Cody...
Chills every time.
I just made this exact comment on another video if that song. Good lord, it guts me.
My favorite song of his for sure.
@@2HRTS1LOVE Glad I'm not the only one.
Not ashamed that song makes this old man miss all the mountain beauties ive seen lowered into the ground…
He was in rare form this night goddamn what a set
Tyler Childers your soul is angelic, keep on spreading the light through your music, it definitely helps, especially during times like this!
Tyler Childers is awesome. He's got a great voice that hits all the emotions, and damn what a songwriter! Purgatory is great, but this guy doesn't even need a band. He is fantastic.
I prefer hearing him on acoustic just like this, but his brand is top notch as well
I ❤ the fact he shares the stage
Just discovered him and can't get enough. What I wouldn't do to sit in a bar and listen to him for a few hours. What an unbelievable setting. Cheers!
Wow, he got my attention quickly with the 1st song. Thanks for sharing 👍
If there was ever a place and time, where I wish i could be, it is this moment right here. There is something special about a candid and solo Tyler Childers acoustic set. I only hope I get the chance to witness something a great as this someday.
Word.
Hey,meeeeeeeetoòooo❤
Here with a bunch of beer about to watch this whole thing. Can't tell you how jealous I am of these people
I really can’t love this enough, it’s so special. I’m so glad people finally heard him. This world is a bit brighter with his music in the light!
The likes of I've never seen in my 53 years. He's a beauty, a Bonnie, and a joy! He changed my life.
Amen, Miss Natalie.
My neighbor threw a rock through my window to hear this better!!
Yo Willie...myself used an AR TO HEAR IT....THATS AT EARS...GOOD TECH UP HERE
Can't say I blame im.
Thats funny
This guy is awesome - I’m from the uk and New Year’s Eve is a night dedicated to soul country, bourbon cocktails. Sorry don’t hate me we’ve got cowboy hats too. Forgive me but when I was in the USA I loved how people just got up and played a guitar and sang …. We loved it. Lady May is poetry, in fact it all is.
I love this concert and listen to it at least once a month on a Friday night and always let the commercials play to support the legend that recorded this !!! Thank you M.C.M.!!!
I listen to him everyday❤
I seriously can BELIEVE his connection to the girl in the corner watching the boy's learn the strings.I 'be never noticed an artist who shows unforgiving LOVE as one of his very first songs ( please check out original version)...he is "in my mind" that never forgets where he came from.God bless you Tyler.I'd KILL to have a man to remember me like you bring her back to life when you sing it!❤
My all time favorite live Tyler show!!! I’ve watched this video a ton of times!! He’s an awesome songwriter and his voice is so captivating!!! I just love everything he’s about!!! Something bout them gingers!!!😍
What does them Gingers mean?

I did it a bit different than the other people who already have the time stamps. I'm a guitar player and songwriter, and an avid listener of tyler and i RELISH moments like these and soakin in the whole thing. youtube and smartphones are a beautiful thing. the banter leading up to a song is important, esp with folk - it just is. i put stamps where the previous song ends, so you catch that

His song writing skills are incredible! and i dont say that lightly!! the way he tells a story through the art of music is amazing.
I've watched this so many times, it's perfect
What a set! I could listen to this daily. So much emotion in his voice it takes you in. Great work Tyler, great work camera man
God bless your talent son. First time listening. Wow solid gold amen to true talent
I'm sad I didn't pay more attention to him a couple years ago. I could have seem him up close and in an intimate setting like this. He's going to take off from here and be a mega star. Such a bittersweet feeling.
I've been saying this for a year....very upsetting. Just last year you could have been 10' away for $30. Now it'll all be stadium shows with $100 tickets to sit in the nosebleeds.
I know it's been mentioned, but kudos to you for putting in the effort to capture this footage! Also, kudos to those wonderful individuals shushing the people talking too much. I've never understood why people talk through shows, especially in intimate settings like this, that they've probably spent weeks or months waiting to attend. Please go sit in the front row of a Ray LaMontagne show and learn your lesson.
Thanks and blessings to the steady soul that captured this .
