Old songs never get old because, they were written based on real feelings with insight to fix in the audience situation or feelings, but what we see now hmmm, just to make views on social media to make money

What also makes old songs valuable than today is also the instrumentation. Ambuleys song doesn't have good lyrics, but the instrumentation is well planned, clear and specific. U can listen to each instrument and learn the one u want such as bass guitar, leading keyboard, etc. Nowadays music is full of noise. Instruments cannot be specifically identified.
I'm a keybodist. I can learn the instruments of the old songs but I can't identify any instrument to learn in the current songs. It's full of noise (chaka chaka Chaka 😂)

Hola, estoy realmente impresionado con la explicación. La música de entonces era buena en los viejos tiempos y los minutos eran más largos que los actuales. En mi opinión es por eso que la música no dura hoy en día.

In Nana's era we had only few artist to listen to, on cassette, on radio, parties and funerals, this time around we have so many artists to listen to,new release everyday and our phones are with us 24/7, you select whom to listen to, those days unless your dad tell you to change it,
You must not compare eras, there was a time you couldn't question a president now you people have the gut to compare the first president of the land head to yam and then posted it online. accept the growth fellas.

Your point is good but remember, those same people's songs are still used during ceremonies, event gatherings and many more in today's era...
      Why is it so?.

@@agyeijoseph841 we get fed up quicker, we go like "lemme go check this other song out" and then the new hit comes, in the olden era(1990's n 2000's ) you don't choose, dad chooses, so it stuck in your brain and you grow up with it.

@@agyeijoseph841 again, in the 1900 to 2000s you don't choose, your dad controls the tape, even if you don't like the song you are forced to, this time you have so many options, blacko releases a song you love it you listen to it 2 or 3 times and then sark releases you love it after 3 or 4 days kingpromise releases and the cycle keeps on revolving, at ceremonies in this days, djs don't allow one song to end becoz the have sooo many options.

For me I don't relate to any DL songs because they're archaic, East Legon boy of 20 years you want me to be listening to DL, Adofo, Amakye Dede etc for what? Those songs are gradually getting out of the system. When mummy, Daddy and Magraheb die who'd listen to those songs again? Mtchww.... allow us to enjoy our Afrobeat and the Blacko weed vibes we're cool with those.

Which Daddy lumba's song are you talking about , Francis? Today I listened to "honey" bedmatics inspiration 😂😂😂.
I'm more of a rap, reggae, highlife and country music girl so I still listen to music for longer minutes.
We have evolved so much so today's music is done according to how it should be.
Again, Francis did justice to breaking this issue down!
