Incredible series, so much respect to all the developers at Falcom. Can't wait for Ys 9 in the west. Hopefully it won't be too long :(
I love the Ys series! And Falcom is one of the best game developers out there.
If its JRPG. Its always Square-Enix bro. Chrono Cross, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy,
@@kysierkevinYeah, when it comes to JRPGs (and Falcom is making action RPGs nowadays, although they also used to make JRPGs). Although, however, I would say pre-Square Enix Square is the best when it comes to JRPGs. FF 6, Super Mario RPG, Live A Live (okay, that one is more of a mix of JRPG and tactical RPG), Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears...
I love Dragon Quest though, especially Dragon Quest VIII
.
@@kysierkevin did you meant "square soft" square enix it'snt good so far!
Thanks for putting Ys VS Trails in the Sky
Wow, what a great looking game series. Also, Ys Origin is 6 bucks on PSN!
Ys 6 looks like an N64 kind of game! Something I think the N64 could've benefited from!
Me: playing ys 8 for the first time
Watching ys graphics compilations
Brain: welcome to the ys series! Have fun and collect and play them all!
Me: if money allows it then yes!
You forgot Legacy of Ys: Book I & II from Nintendo DS
There are a ton of things that weren't included from the beginning of the series, such as the many versions of Book I & II
We can forget about the DS game lol although it's not that bad the TG CD blew it out of the water 20 years prior.
@@sigurdtheblue what are not included? i looked in wiki bc im trying to find there videos to watch on them but in truth im not finding all of of. i cant finr ys 4 on there there counting celesta as 4th on there and the other. its counting very few sadly.. i was trying to find the complete run down of all the games and all of the remakes also.. (Since i think a ground up remake of ys 1 and 2 would look so beautiful in today's hardware enabling them to look as good as the latest FF games.. ) i just dont understand the true story and or lore of the games since 1 and 2 have nothing to do with 3 from what i seen and i dono about the others that come after...
@@thunderlord2200 well book 1 and 2 are remakes. Wiki hide stuff because they are probably remakes and to prevent build up of content.
@@thunderlord2200 and you can watch the videos on CZcams.

Hope no
@@redserker9104 well at least we have ys origins
So for 700+ years people from ys was trapped in the sky? None of them was trying to jump and go down? How their economy works? Where they get their supply like fabric for cloth cook ware, salt etc? What about their genetics, how they marrying each other to avoid incest for 700 years in a small floating island and population?
