Honestly, as much as i am a fan of Mad Twinz over the years, with all due respect, Spider House took this one. Their musicality, composure and beat structure was on point. I believe Mad Twinz may have taken their title for granted and just used simple beats and bass, which in my opinion is not wrong but becomes boring when it is repeated a number of times. So hats off to Spider House for the win. Well deserved in my opinion!

Mad Twinz were less coordinated and messed up a couple times in their routines, that's why they lost. It doesn't matter though, anyways. Both Tag Teams were amazing, and congrats to both for making it to the final! Much respect, and as always, ESH!!!

How did Spiderhorse win? I mean, they are pretty good and melodic, but this is a battle, not a showcase. Mad Twinz prepared their routines as a battle mode, they should've won this.

Mad Twinz were sloppy even when re-using a routine, at one point one of them even drops a mic. I get it, you like them more, but they didn't deserve the win here. Their beats sounded all over the place.

Ok 80 was a bit over the top but i think almost 60 seconds is just singing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating them, but i was in Berlin and was very disappointed that this (we heard lots of times already) was part of a world cup final. watching the battle again, I'm still not sure why Mad Twinz lost, but I can see at least that the battle was a closer one than when I saw it in the livestream. Mad Twinz had strong rounds but the ending to the second one was a bit weak, so I can fault that. SpiderHorse had a pretty weak (but still musically and flow-wise strong) first round for a battle, and while I realize that the people were judged based on their performance in _this_ competition (not others), I feel like SpiderHorse's repetition + the slow tempo didn't have enough to warrant the win (even with their strong comeback in round 2). I don't want to sound like a Mad Twinz fanboy, because I really do love both teams (and I thought SpiderHorse deserved their win in GBB18 + had a great elimination here), but I don't think SpiderHorse should've won this battle. Maybe their semis against Bery, but not the finals.
Looking at it back, and not just this but almost every competition. The one who stands out and is obviously different from the others have a very chance of winning. In this time of beatboxing only a few were able to match up the musicality of spider horse.

Ok so I can't just say nothing reading theses comments, it's insane how a crazy amount of people put alot of hates on SpiderHorse just like that. If you only judge by videos and react to it badly, don't assume their whole training life and passion is shit, like what the fuck, that hates is not even from the community, just from people that just wasn't even there! People that were on stage, Mad Twin, Spider Horse EVERYONE watch theses videos, and THEY KNOW how it was, people from the AUDIENCE, that was there (like me) KNOWS how it was, JUDGES were literally there THE WHOLE FUCKING EVENT, and they clearly KNOW how it was. So please it's not even about opinion and all, it's about respect. If you weren't there to the event, just don't even put hate, cuz they will see these comments, they'll feel bad for people that weren't even THERE. I see people saying that the Jury are idiots, it's an direct insult, no justifications, and some assume that it was rigged and how the jury would have THINK MENTALLY to literally make them win or I don't know what. worst part about beatbox house is they all recycle routines waaaaaaaaay too often... they are all talented dont get me wrong but when you are in a final/semi final whatever, anything besides qualifiers, you should not be able to use an old routine at least in my opinion

has nothing to do with the mic drop, to know about beatbox is to know about music, which is subjective thats why they have a diverse judging panel. Tough to judge this one but Spiderhorse were more techincal and their routines were way more planned and had better structure, plus all original.

Their musical complexity, singing abilities, originality, etc, put them leaps and bounds ahead of many other tag teams today. What pisses me off the most is that no one gives them the respect that they deserve, and that's because of their style. They represent beatbox for what it truly is, it's an art.
