No I dont think you're wrong. Tyra just HAD to interject herself in everything. And Allison's video was about her father dying and she had to ruin it.

The Tyra-and-Cahill appearances made the seven mostly lackluster videos worse; did Tyra think she HAD to be present in order for these videos to go 'viral'? (None really did, and I only liked Allison's.) Each video was meant to focus heavily on the models' already quite played-up 'branding' (rebel Lisa, glitz queen Dominique, wide-eyed lil' Southern-girl-in-the-big-city Laura), but Tyra and Cahill just interfered with their messages. Their campy costumes and moves added something only to Alexandria's lifeless 'Go, Go, Go'.
