I m applying littleexttra rosemary reactivate hair growth serum from a couple of weeks. Here is my review:

2- Good hair growth results in just 2 weeks that it gave me

4- Non-sticky and simple to use

Exercise a minimum of 20 - 30 mins daily. Using natural oil, neem wood comb, scalp massager by Littleextra Cooconion two times a week. All this is good for hair fall control.

The problem that most people I know face is that their hair still feels and looks 'greasy' after not using shampoo for even one day. I experienced this too, until I started scrubbing my head with my fingers, sort of like Alex says here. Emphasis on scrubbing, you will feel the grease and whatever else is in your hair on your hands. Obviously don't rip your hair out.
Ty
I know this is an old comment but if you don’t mind answering, I was wondering if doing this for a few months made your hair less greasy in between washes? I’m in the same boat in which I shampoo daily but when I wake up, my hair is terribly greasy and horrid. Maybe if I were to do what you suggested and start scrubbing my scalp well (without shampoo) could it alleviate that issue? Cheers.
@@JackFlicks if u wash your hair daily, then it's the issue. As far as i know, washing hair will also clean off your natural hair oil and make your scalp dry, then your scalp will produce more oil that makes your hair more greasy. So, don't worry to skip one or two days without shampoo. Maybe you will feel greasy at the beginning, but your scalp will adapt and find its "normal state". And don't skip conditioner after use shampoo.
Sorry for my bad english, hope it can help ʘ‿ʘ

Yeah I literally have to shampoo every day 😔
Untrue, I noticed that my dandruff ended once I started using no shampoo. I'm pretty sure the shampoo caused my scalp to be dry and flaky and how the natural moisture developed was all out of wack. Once I went on no shampoo the semi frequent dandruff ended, but keep in mind that you DO need to use your fingers and really get into your scalp to clean any grime or excess oil. Shampoo strips your hair of everything, just use warm water.
Ideally all hair is different and how often you wash it depends on what you want to achieve and what your hair type/ skin type is. For some people it will be washing once a week, for other every day.
Also what products you use is very important.
Only stupid people wash daily
Pretty much. There’s no one size fits all formula for hair. Only rule is figure out what works and keep doing that😂
Exactly. I know, from experience, I have to wash my hair every 2 days, if I wait any longer, my scalp starts itching and it looks greasy and disgusting. Maybe every day if I'm doing exercise or sweat a lot. But there's people (black people, I've noticed) who only wash their hair once a week and it's fine

I'm a dude, I had no idea about mens body care and so on(fathers ded) but then I noticed a lot of hair videos being recommended to me and it made me really thankful that I have great hair. I had no idea the struggles one with hair can go through, whether it's growing hair, or breakage of hair, I never had it. Only recently did I start caring for my hair(I'm 18) from the young age of 8 I never used any hair products and my hair somehow still looked great but now that I'm adding it, conditioning daily whilst detangling my natural curly hair, its starting to look even better.

Can't plenty of conditioner and water work the same? As a sort or soap, like washing your hands
@@rhandyrhoads12 soap isn't really that oily
This is helpful only for dense and thick hair types, fine and thin hair types get very greasy if they aren't washed daily because there's less surface area and hair as a whole for the oils to spread onto, also there are studies that show that shampooing frequency doesn't have an effect in oil production at all, as is the scalp won't start producing more or less oils depending on the frequency of hair washing, so skipping shampoo days is good only if one likes the way their hair feels and looks unwashed (and thick, dense and curly/wavy hairs do look better if they aren't super stripped from the oils on them, dgmw), nothing more.

Wait?! No Shampoo but condnioner?😂😂😂
The biggest problem with videos like these is that it doesn’t take into consideration that hair care is unique to the individual. There is no such thing as a one size fits all shampoo regimen. There should be a disclaimer at the beginning that this type of regimen is not suitable for all hair types. Certain products and regimens (like co-washing) has led to hair loss. If you are interested in a regimen that is right for you I’d contact a dermatologist/and hair stylist that can lend their expertise for your specific hair type.
Don’t shampoo daily no matter who you are

Hi! I want to give advice to people who are very active/athletic and who sweat a good bit. Not shampooing after having sweat in your hair causes build up, so you probably should use shampoo, but im not 100% sure.
I have extremely oily hair. If I don't wash my hai with shampoo at least once a day, next day it's just oil factory. Regardless if I do wash it with shampoo more often or no
I don’t have a set schedule for when I use shampoo. I just use it whenever my hair feels too oily or dirty. If it’s ever the perfect amount of oil where it holds a shape really well but is also fluffy I won’t use shampoo or conditioner.
Thank you Alex, very detailed and short on when to use shampoo, conditioner and just shower with water
I used to wash my hair too much. After all, I felt like it was the only way I could style it (because it's curly,)so then I experienced dandruff because my scalp didn’t have the oils it needed to keep the scalp from drying. And when I did small exercises or just walked my scalp sweated and would be so itchy.
Happy New Year! I haven’t showered since 2008 😃
Conditioning is better
I admit it I used to shampoo my hair every single day as a teenager. I then realized that it would strip my natural oils and since I have naturally thick African textured hair, it tends to dry and lock. I only wash my hair every 3-4 weeks especially since I now live in a subtropical humid climate and I often wear braids.
Applying conditioner daily is a masterstroke. My hair has become very silky, soft and the best part is, no hairfall due to breakage. And I shampoo 3 time a week (Tue, Thu, Sat). It works well for me.
My hair gets greasy af after 2 days, also my hair don't feel dry and brittle normally sooooo imma keep doin what I'm doin
the reason why it feels greasy is because you’re shampooing too much, all the stripping of natural oils makes your scalp produce even more oils to compensate, start shampooing ur hair only every other day, then from there once every 3 or 4 days then from there once a week.
@@0Takethoserisks0 I tried that for 3months, got worse. Imma keep doin what I normally do
You shouldn’t wash you hair every day, doesn’t matter if it s with shampoo or conditioner or whatever.
You need to let the natural oils build up and have time to act on your hair. Wash your hair every 3-4 days using both shampoo and conditioner, if you have a hair mask, use it one a week on your wash days.
Still, shower everyday, just don’t wash your hair everyday, the steam from the shower should be enough so your hair doesn’t get greasy in one day
When you say don’t wash your hair everyday are you referring to not shampooing daily or to not even cleaning your scalp with water while showering. Cheers.
If you produce a lot of sebum, that buildup can actually cause inflammation, and further hair loss and other issues. Learned this the hard way, after I tried to "train" my hair for less shampoo multiple times, started loosing hair to the point even people around me started noticing I have bald spots on my sides.
Honestly, my hair will get very oily if I do this, so I like to use a shampoo and conditioner every day to keep my hair healthy! (My fav brand is native-SO GOOD!)
I’ve done this, my hair looks better and is softer
I haven't used shampoo in months and my hair is the healthiest it has ever been
man chose violence
So have I. It has been atleast 5 months
So I buy a product to remove the oil, then I buy another product to put on oil !!!! Now I know why those companies r rich 😂
Many years ago I saw a forum that posted a No Shampoo Challenge. The main idea was to replaced shampoo with just water + baking soda and conditioner with water + apple cider vinegar. To my surprise it help me incredibly with my harsh dandruff. I still believed in this method but I recognized that is not for everyone.
Isn't conditioner supposed to rectify this? If you put conditioner in after washing your hair it makes your hair silky again

I work construction , constantly sweating all day I don’t know if I can go without getting a thorough wash every day .

you can use conditioner frequently
using only water might cause excessive oil or for some dandruffs
I stopped shampooing altogether for 2 weeks now, if you get past the greasy state and just thoroughly "wash" them with water only everytime you take a shower, after a week my hair just started to feel and look amazing. Natural oils are the way to go and your scalp will regulate itself over time. Of course it might take longer for some people, just do it gradually decreasing the amount of times you shampoo until you don't need it anymore. I heard that many times before and gave up everytime I tried cause I thought it was bullshit but after a little more than 2 weeks.. wow. No more dandruffs, no oily hair, just silky shiny hair.
Do you use conditioner ?
Do you use conditioner ?
But what if you workout six times a week

Please don't listen to this guy. What works for one person may not work for another. Completely cutting out shampoo will lead to buildup of oil on your head, causing extreme hair loss and dandruff, as well as your scalp literally peeling. Again, this varies from person to person. But not shampooing AT ALL could cause so much oil in your hair that the US would want to invade it.
@@rayyanshaikh5591 I recommend everyone at least trying it out and seeing for themselves. You are saying it like we humans will literally die if we don't shampoo, but remember the millions of years that humans didn't need shampoo...? Hair itself adapt to how we treat it, if you shampoo all the time, the hair will adapt and speed up its own "hydrating system" which is the essential hair oils that it needs. So many in todays world where its been almost a necessity to shampoo has led to people having extremely greasy hair, and of course thinking they have to keeps shampooing, making it worse. For the last 6 years I’ve been trying to do this. My hair was always insanely greasy, it never „got used to washing it less“ and I developed an extremely itchy scalp and got a ton of dandruff. I have fine hair that is naturally just very greasy (my dad is the same way so it’s genetics). I just randomly started washing my hair everyday again and finally I can go 3 minutes without scratching my head! If you have an very oily scalp not washing your hair for a long time might cause you to develop a scalp yeast infection. Just saying for those who’ve experienced the same thing.
It works Alex I knew I could trust you. Thanks man ♂️

Let water do the work
been doing this for the last 2-3 years because i realized how dry my hair gets if i shampoo it everyday. Every 2-3 days is the best time to enjoy washing my hair 🫶
Dont listen, your hair may get oily and smell, this totally is not at all for everyone!!! Be warned!!
The problem is I play tennis and go to the gym on a daily basis so my hair has a lot of sweat in it literally every day
Giving it a good wash with just water keeps it surprisingly clean. I am sweaty all the time too, but my hair does not stink despite washing it 2-3 times per week.
Its bacteria that make sweat stink, not the sweat itself. Washing with just water often works fine.
Yes leaving sweat and dirt on there is so bad for your scalp and hair I would wash it often if I were you
Shampoo the no 1 reason for baldness
When i wash my hair with shampoo i have no hair loss when i go thru, when i let my hair be oily for 2-3 days, a couple falls off. It depends on the head.
What if my job make my hair dirty and I work 6 days a week so j feel the need to use shampoo
People with a buzz cut: I am stronger. I am smarter. I am better! I AM BETTER!!!
Lol as a part of the black community we stand by this advice. 😂If we washed our hair everyday it would be sooo damaged.

Yes I stop shampooing my hair and my hair not damaged but growing
If i dont wash my hair one day, it would stick to my scalp from its oil. I have extremely oily skin and hair and not washing daily is not an option 😢. Dose anyone know how to treat it?
Don’t tell me what to do.
Bro my scalp is very sweaty if I miss one day without shampoo my hair start stinking and it gets rough what should I do?
Maybe use some warm water?
It's like that at first but your hair will get used to it overtime. And showering with water only can still remove sweat. If you want your hair to still smell good, you can use oils. I apply rosemary oil on my hair when i dont use shampoo to keep my hair smell good. I only use shampoo every other day because i'd get hair fall if i use shampoo everyday.
don't listen to this bullshit. that depends on each person. if your scalp gets oilier than others, you should shampoo twice a day. that's what my doctor said to me.
You should suggest alternative of shampoo in case if one need to remove oil from hair. Because keeping oily hair for too long will also harm the hair
Yeah you got a point thanks
Please please please know your scalp health before you start doing this. This only works if you do not have scalp health issues. If you have eczema or dermatitis or other conditions like that you need to wash your hair everyday. If you don't it's fine to wash your hair everyday or skip a day. The key is to know your scalp health!
i use shampoo daily ... lol
I use bar of soap
Everyone have different amount btw, I'd personally say 2-5 times a week depending on how limp or oily your hair gets. Everyone's hair build up those natural oil at a different rate. So I'd say 2-5 times a week. I use shampoo once every 3 days in the morning but my friend had a condition that made him sweat a LOT. Which affects not only his body but also hair, it gets so oily and drenched so quick, so he had to wash up every 1 or 2 days. still not everyday though.
I'm taught to do this throughout my life and my hair is super thick and healthy, I thought everyone would do that but seeing this video, I'm shocked.
Ive actually tried this. I got very thin hair, after 2 days without using shampoo, my head got really itchy and my hair became super oily. So for me, i cant really do this.
my tip is to use good professional shampoo, always used drugstore brands and couldn't even get my hair to stay clean for 1 day, now i can go at least 3 days between whashes.
