And here is the Goat from the new update. I decided to call him "Lucifer" (or Luci) Well, Lambert, you now have a rival

Lucifer has the advantage to not be the one that stole Narinder's godhood. I bet this make it easier to accept the idea of a romantic relationship. The Lamb will have to work hard to earn the first place in Narinder's heart.

Hello again, little late to the party but here's my take on the goat. I personally think that the goat is a mirror inverse of the lamb, as the opposite personality, habits, and how they treat others around them. The Lamb in my AU I view is soft-spoken to her followers, she cares greatly for them and loves them as a family, but this love is born out of her trauma of losing her own loved ones back when the bishops were killing all the lambs, she was powerless to do anything but watch as her family was ripped away from her, all she could do was run and hide which likely plagued her with guilt over not being able to save them. She also never chose the rituals of belief in sacrifice as it disgusted her and instead "ascends" her followers when they grow old allowing them to go to the afterlife peacefully. Her betrayal of Narinder was not out of a selfish desire to hold onto power but instead her reaching a breaking point, she had lost everyone she loved before and she now had a chance to stop that from happening again. In the end Her will to live and save her followers proved greater than Narinder's will to be free, even so she spared him once he had been stripped of his power. This however leaves the two in a situation where they are dealing with the opposite problem, Lambert saved her new family but now she is a god with a role to fill and must maintain an image of divinity to her followers and thus suffers from the strain of doing so, and Narinder a former god is now reduced to a follower who cannot die due to his immortality, he now has to deal with people and things he doesn't like and cannot simply do away with them like he could as a god. The goat (who I will refer to as Ares) is the opposite to the lamb, sure he does care for his followers but he does not view them as family, but instead as soldiers and servants that obey his will. Remember that the purple crown belonged originally to Shamura who is the embodiment of war and wisdom. So in Ares timeline, Shamura was the one to betray and maim their siblings not Narinder who remained as a loyal bishop unlike in the main timeline. Ares unlike lamb never felt fondness for those beneath him, and that he would sacrifice his followers who disobeyed him or failed him on a mission. This mentality eventually hardened his heart and as such he didn't hesitate to kill Shamura when he stripped them of their power. The conflict between Ares and Lambert would serve as the contrast in the their mentality, Lambert would want Ares on her side as she does intend to build a new pantheon, but his habits and worldview clash hard with her more restrained and soft-spoken demeanor. Lambert would still be more powerful than Ares as one she is death incarnate and every time Ares kills someone that death is given to her as strength, so if he gets too overconfident she can beat him and take his power away just as she did with the bishops and Narinder, but he's smart enough not to let that happen.

I must admit you have a very interesting universe! It was interesting to read your views ^3^
I can’t reveal about my AU yet, as I plan to make a mini “series”
But, I hope you will enjoy as much as I 🔅💖🔅

@@animationsfromtheforesthou8814 much appreciated, much of the work I put into my AU was inspired by my travels across the internet, one COTL au that was a big basis for this one was 'Mercy Gone Wrong' I don't know who was the creator of the au but props to them for making a captivating alternate timeline, the basis of that au was that lamb spared Narinder but Narinder kills them and attempts to take the red crown back, but before Lamb dies he transfers his essence and soul into the crown essentially becoming the crown, thus the focus of the AU is that Narinder and Lamb have to work with each other in running the cult even though they do not like each other. Sadly the au series was never finished as far as I am aware, it ends unresolved and there hasn't been anything from it since. Despite that the creator had some cool concepts like the Red Crown having its own inner pocket reality that takes the form of a massive castle/cathedral that the lamb travels to while he is asleep in the waking world and the crown itself having its own sentience as a minotaur like monster that prowls the realm. I think the creator intended for the au to end with the Lamb freeing himself but regaining full control of the red drown thus stripping Narinder of Power and thus deciding whether to spare him again or kill him to ensure he doesn't have the chance to usurp him anymore. Another aspect to my take on the universe inspired by the au was that the lambs had their own god that comes from the same realm as the mystic trader, that mysterious eye creature you meet in the relics of the old faith dlc, this deity who was known by the lambs as their divine lady or divine mother, and that the reason we cannot revive dead lambs who were slain by the bishops is that this deity shepherded the souls of all the slain lambs safely away to her realm all except one... that one soul being Lambert herself due to the prophecy overriding any form of divine intervention. I've created a scene where Lambert is busy on one of her crusades through darkwood slaughtering heretics with Narinder at her side when they encounter a golden archway that leads to a peaceful oasis, Lambert gets pulled through while Narinder is left stuck on the outside. While in this realm she meets the god of her people, she asks the goddess why did she do nothing to save her kin when they were being slaughtered, why did she not answer their pleas for saving, and the goddess responds by telling her that she did in fact save them, though not in life but in death she brought their souls to her realm which is essentially an eldritch form of heaven in this universe allowing them to live a life of peace and prosperity no longer having to fear or suffer again. She then offers Lambert a choice, if she were to give up the red crown and accept her death she could rejoin her family in paradise and finally rest in peace, but Lambert cannot take the offer because she feels that she would be abandoning her followers who have become her new family and she cannot bring herself to do that, thus turns the offer down, the divine lady lets her go but before departing she tells Lambert that the offer will always be there if she decides to change her mind.
