- Love delight recipe!
1 stick butter softened, mix with 1 cup cookie pieces of pecans and 1 cup flour. Mix together, flatten out and bake for 15-20 min on 350
Homemade whip cream - large container of heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla. I do this to taste, start with 1/4 cup sugar and 1tbsp of vanilla, beat, add more sugar if needed.
Take half of that whip cream and set aside. Take the other half and mix in 8oz of cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar. Whip together and layer this over the crust when cooled.
Next layer - I packet of instant vanilla jello pudding, 1 packet instant chocolate jello pudding, mix with 3 cups milk. When whipped together, layer this over cream cheese layer.
Next top with remaining whipped cream
Shave anything on top, chocolate bar, Reese’s, Heath bar, nuts.
Refrigerate for a few hours to overnight!
Done!

That structure you showed the port through was likely an outpost, the hole for an arrow or rifle, so that the guard was protected but could still act. The homes wouldn't have been as much rock, so likely didn't last more than a decade or so after being abandoned, but that guard outpost will last a long time still.
Those ruins at the farm are facinating to me !!! Just think about the people who lived there centuries ago and who were they and what were they like. Amazing episode guys 👍 Yee Yee nation 💪

Our son was stationed at Ft Hood for 3 years and was a crew chief on a Blackhawk crew - he finished his 6 years last fall and is back home in Wisconsin but he probably flew over your mom's place many times ❤ God bless the USA and the men and women who serve our country!!

Oh my goodness! I used to have a dear friend that would sound the shofar at church when the presence of Holy Spirit would be so tangible! Unfortunately we lost her to cancer..but it was amazing to hear it!
Fireplace turned out awesome. Very rustic. The shiplap on either side really finishes it off nicely.

My husband has .he has changed addresses .when he was live ,he had emphysema and bronchitis .but he with all that he could blow that showfair .Woal,,,,,,,,,,, he could blow that Good real good . I know this dessert as Chocolate Delight. I first tasted this 30 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. One substitution was slivered almonds instead of pecans for the base and just chocolate pudding. It was topped with mini chocolate chips for the topping and some slivered almonds. Best dessert ever!

It's so cool to watch Amber, Lincoln and London cook using familiar brands and fun easy recipes. The Love Pie looks delish and I can't wait to make it for our first family gathering since last March. My friend's husband is at Fort Hood. They live between Waco and Austin. Sure. I've only flown into Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. I have not seen any of Texas yet. My husband drove cross-country five times moving the same couple from Roanoke Virginia to San Diego California. I believe he only went to Oklahoma did not go through any of Texas. Hope to visit my friend in Texas soon. Love The Smith's. Continued prayers for you and your family and your new little one.
If you put your bowl in the freezer for awhile before you make your whip cream it really makes a difference. I am going to make the pie,not sure what I will call it yet. London cracks me up.......I would love to bake with her!! Angry pie,too funny.

I do a dessert that is similar to this. It is a Reece Cup dessert. The bottom layer is a graham cracker crust (1 pack crushed graham crackers mixed with a TBS of sugar and 1 stick of melted butter) . Then you do the cream cheese layer, then the pudding layer. Top with remaining whipped cream and crumble reese cups over the top. SOOOOO yummy.
I got married in Burnet on inks lake it’s so pretty! I live in San Antonio but it felt like a destination wedding.

Oh my this was so much fun to watch. Enjoyed seeing the animals and the views around. That was awesome of the kids to get the snake. one of my very favorite desserts......been eating that on "special occasions" for 46ish years.....our family recipe is called "Elegant dessert"...exact same as yours although we do the cool whip version more often then real whipped cream... sooo yummy and easy ...i could eat the whole thing myself if i really wanted to😊 the house is soooo beautiful and my kind of style ❤️ it....YEEYEE🇺🇸
I love love love all the old barn wood and ship lap (sp ?). I know you all are getting anxious to move into it. You still have lots of decisions to make and work ahead. Then you will have to have a Texas style BBQ to celebrate and have a house warming!!
I have to say that Lincoln and London have more courage than I do when it comes to snakes. I would have thrown the pitch fork at the snake while I was running the opposite direction.
