Literally Lord of the Rings. Frodo and Sam come home to a shire that's been overrun with industrial machinery by Saruman.

I agree. It really slaps you with a metal gauntlet.
If it's not some cheap ass midi it can be quite good, it's basically an acoustic cover then.

Verily, at the finale, mine efforts were futile thus.
This could be a part of the Age of Empires II Definitive Edition soundtrack and I wouldn´t even notice.

Lord chester bennington must not be forgotten................ forever
't starts with one thing,
i don't knoweth wherefore,
't doesn't coequal matter how hard thee tryeth,
keepeth yond in mind i designed this rhyme,
to pray pardon me in due time,
all i knoweth,
time is a valuable thing,
gaze 't fly by as the pendulum swings,
gaze 't count down to the end of the day,
the horologe ticks life hence,
't's so unreal,
didn't behold out below,
i gaze the time wend right out the window,
trying to hold on, but thee didn't coequal knoweth,
did waste 't all just to gaze thee wend,
i did keep everything inside,
and coequal though i did tryeth, 't all did fall apart,
what 't did cullionly to me,
wilt eventually beest a memory of a time at which hour,
i did tryeth so hard,
and did get so far,
but in the end 't doesn't coequal matter,
i did hath't to falleth,
to loseth 't all,
but in the end 't doesn't coequal matter,
one thing, i don't knoweth wherefore,
't doesn't coequal matter how hard thee tryeth,
keepeth yond in mind,
i designed this rhyme,
to remind myself of a time at which hour,
i did tryeth so hard,
in spite of the way thee wast fleering me,
acting like i wast part of thy property,
remembering all the times thee did doth square with me,
i'm surprised 't did get so,
things aren't the way they wast ere,
thee wouldn't coequal recognize me anymore,
not yond thee did knoweth me back then,
but 't all cometh back to me in the end,
thee did keep everything inside,
and coequal though i did tryeth, 't all did fall apart,
what 't did cullionly to me,
wilt eventually beest a memory of a time at which hour,
i did tryeth so hard,
and did get so far,
but in the end 't doesn't coequal matter,
i did hath't to falleth,
to loseth 't all,
but in the end 't doesn't coequal matter,
i've did put mine trust in thee,
did push as far as i can wend,
for all this thither's only one thing thee shouldst knoweth,
i've did put mine trust in thee,
did push as far as i can wend,
for all this thither's only one thing thee shouldst knoweth,
i did tryeth so hard and did get so far,
but in the end 't doesn't coequal matter,
i did hath't to falleth to loseth 't all,
but in the end 't doesn't coequal matter.

This is such a great cut. Linkin Park was a great part of my early adulthood. I seriously regret I never found a way to see them live.
I swear bardcore should be legit genre. At least it is to me
I will never stop listening Linkin park Linkin park forever

The intro definitely has a "nothing else matters" feel to it. I'm digging it .
I keep coming back to this for the sheer masterpiece it was back in 1400's
Yes I like this instrumental better than Linkin Park's cover!

Why does this sound so amazing?
I listened to this for the second time and when it gets to the "I try so hard" part, I just feel compelled! It has such a flow and the instruments used make me want every linkin park song done this way lol

Really wish more people would actually perform bardcore, instead of just using midis. The musicality is really indispensable to the softer acoustic sounds, especially of the era. That's why these can sound flat on the lyrics sections. Might have to fuck around and to it myself.
Oleanteros Coltsfoot also uses real instruments. Do check his covers out if interested.
@@ItsWinterProductions thanks for the heads up

Check out Hildegard von Blingin's channel - She's doing versions with medieval-style lyrics too.
